If that is the case, then that's good news. But the Wise Old Elf, along with Granny and Grandpapa, could potentially be over 200. Barnaby is the wise old elf's grandson, and Holly is the granddaughter of Granny and Grandpapa. There's a chance that they could've inherited some longevity anyway. But we don't have much info on Ben's family, so who knows

Maybe: + Neville Astley and Mark Baker (developers of BAHLK) like red hair in general? + Red hair stands out more than other hair colours (not quite true because some characters don't have red hair: Ex: Holly, Barnaby, Fleur, Jake, Violet, etc.). But characters who have colourful hair often stand out in kids' shows like in BAHLK, because the colour palette is often colourful themselves. + Red hair is a common trait/gene in supernatural races (or little people)
