I'm not just a memory.

VISMOD: US military slang for a friendly vehicle that has been visually modified to represent an enemy vehicle, generally used by the Opposing Force (OpFor) in exercises.

pictured here: the rare M1 KVT (Krasnovian Variant Tank). The M1 KVT is an M1 Abrams modified in various ways to represent a generic Russian tank, such as the kind that might be used by an East European army or insurgent force. The most obvious of these modifications are the fake external fuel tanks bolted to the rear, such fuel tanks being a common feature of Russian tanks.

The M1 KVT, whose designation reflects its use by the fictional country of Krasnovia, replaces the M551 Sheridan in the OpFor tank role. Sheridans were generally mocked up as T-72s and T-80s until they got too old to be of service.
