THE 100 IS MY LIFE. thanks and have a good day.
*Slytherin sitting in class*
Teacher: So then after the war-
Slytherin: AFTER THE WAR I WENT BACK TO NEW YORK!
*whole class turns and stares at
Slytherin*
Slytherin:
Slytherin: Oh God, was that out loud?
Class:
Slytherin:
Slytherin: … I hate myself.
Today was a great day, no one texted me back, I probably failed a big exam, and I have no friends, but in the end, all of that made today an even better day. Even though fate, the world, and everyone I know hated me today, I loved me. I loved what I did, I loved my smiles, I loved my laughs, I loved my art and my movies. The world was just a painting.

Your trauma is valid. Even if other people have experienced “worse”. Even if someone else who went through the same experience doesn’t feel debilitated by it. Even if it “could have been avoided”. Even if it happened a long time ago. Even if no one knows. Your trauma is real and valid and you deserve a space to talk about it. It isn’t desperate or pathetic or attention-seeking. It’s self-care. It’s inconceivably brave. And regardless of the magnitude of your struggle, you’re allowed to take care of yourself by processing and unloading some of the pain you carry. Your pain matters. Your experience matters. And your healing matters. Nothing and no one can take that away.

Diego Luna’s been in over 50 movies, he’s produced twenty-some-odd films, he’s directed a half a dozen movies. You know, how many actors do you find that really have that kind of experience to offer in a movie, any movie, let alone Star Wars? So we’re very lucky to have him.

My thoughts on “Flatliners”, mostly thoughts on Diego:

Better than I was expecting. I’ll be getting it on dvd (duh).

Less scary that I was expecting. It’s about as scary as a standard episode of “Supernatural”.

Way more Diego than I was expecting.

Way more Diego than I was expecting. Especially for a PG-13 movie.

Arm muscles!

I still wanna slap Nina Dobrev’s characters sometimes. This felt like “Elena Gilbert goes to med school”.

Ray had definite Cassian vibes, especially when it came to the “you’re all idiots and you’re fucking up my life, guess I’m gonna have to be the responsible one because you’ll literally die without me” bit.

The hair isn’t as weird on the big screen. It’s the little man bun that makes it look strange. When he’s got it down, it’s better.

He runs. He carries someone. He has muscley arms and wears clingy grey tee shirts. Someone on set must be one of us.

He looks really good in jeans and a long coat.

Smart is sexyyyy.

Diego brings an authenticity to the character because he is a very complex and intelligent actor, and he raises all the right questions. Being from Mexico and shooting more indie films, he has a naturalness in situations where there’s intimacy between the characters. He’s a leading man—he has that sort of aura.

Important Flatliners News

Diego Luna shirtless: yes

Diego Luna, like, crying and shit: yes

Diego Luna running heroically: yes

But the real triumph of this movie, the real brilliance that lifts this movie into Academy Award territory, is that Diego Luna, Diego Literal Cassian Fucking Andor Luna, has the actual line, and I shit you not:

My jacket! My jacket!

you know that scene in 1x05 where raven gets out of the pod and is amazed by earth, the smells, the rain… her face is pure wonder and clarke just stands back and looks at her like #wow and then tells her “welcome home”? that’s gonna be clarke again in S5 except this time raven is gonna be amazed by her because all of them thought she was dead and clarke is probably gonna tell her something like “welcome home, what took you so long” and then she’s going to cry and so will i

If Season 5 doesn’t include some version of someone suggesting Bellamy and Clarke split up and Bellamy saying to Clarke “The last time I let you out of my sight, I lost you for 6 years” what are we even doing here
