Okay, you get an answer, because at least you took the effort to write your ask out properly, even if you are hiding behind the grey, sunglassed circle.
Do I, or any fanfic author for that matter, have any legal claims to our work? No, not really, no. (Although if someone took a fic, filed off the serial number--deleted the fandom specific elements--, and then had it published for financial gain, yeah, that would be a case.)
BUT
Fandoms are built on a social contract that says we respect each others work, the effort people put into their art. We don't steal or disrespect the work of our peers. By feeding people's fanworks to AI you both steal and disprect it, and we need to make people realize that before it's too late--before fandom falls apart, because there will be no more real, actual fanworks.

Also this is not true. You do in fact have the copyright to the specific writing you did in a fic, because that's not how copyright law works. Like this is not a grey area.
People who write IP content for corporations give up their copyright on a contractual basis--the company wants writing they can sell about characters/settings they own without getting entangled in royalty obligations etc, so they hire people. Who sign contracts saying they don't own what they write as part of that job.
That's why you don't own Star Wars stuff you wrote for Disney; you specifically agreed not to own it.
Writing for IP you don't own leaves you in a position where you can't legally monetize it (without taking out the Owned parts ad rebranding), but it absolutely does not automatically cede or void copyright. That is super not a thing.

It’s fascinating that this misconception of copyright still exists. Haven’t we all seen the posts on here where authors beg fans to please not send them fanfic of their works? They’re not doing that because they feel like it, they do that because fans legally own their words and ideas, and an author who takes them even unintentionally can in fact end up in real legal trouble for taking something that’s not theirs. It doesn’t matter whether they own the canon.
Something being outside a dichotomy just forms a trichotomy. What, is something going to lie outside of that too? Tetrachotomy? We need to escape the boundaries of -chotomies. We need to... (Realizes this just forms a dichotomy between non-chotomization/chotomization) oh no...

I don't say this often because i genuinely dislike spoiler culture but i want everyone to understand - the best way to experience chainsaw man is to experience it blind. not because it is best experienced knowing nothing for Spoiler Reasons but because the disconnect between the literal description and metaphorical tapestry of the story is so fucking massive you'll get the wrong idea if you hear literally anything about the storyline of this manga out of context
metaphorically, denji as a character is driven by an innate desire to be loved, to feel the intimacy of companionship he never knew as an abused child growing up alone. Fictionally, he is explicitly positioned against the desire to save the world, a metanarrative punk rebellion against shounen convention. He doesn't want to save the world, he doesn't want to be a hero. The thing he wants more than anything is what any of us want - to be loved, and to live a comfortable enough life to have the space to strive for an even better life.
taken purely literally, his character motivation for quite a long time is to touch some boobs.
"You're not the main character" also applies to thinking that you're so uniquely horrible that everyone you meet is deeply invested in judging and hating you. That's just as much of a cognitive distortion as believing that you're the center of everyone's admiration. I promise you that other people got their own lives to live and their own struggles and flaws to cope with.

Listen, even if the books are legit crap and promote the most horrible things in the world, I am against burning them. The kids should be able to read these books - with the understanding that these books are flawed and have racism/misogyny within them. And maybe it’s a good opportunity to teach them how to recognize propaganda and misinformation? Or to see how outdated science can evolve?
But book burning is the wrong move. Always will be. Don’t go down this road, it will end up backfiring.
… books being discarded by a library is not equivalent to being burned or banned. To even be considered for removal, books will either be in very bad physical shape or will be ones no one has checked out in several years, or will be replaced by newer editions of the same biok. Copies of these books still exist in archives with the express purpose of being preserved, and can be gotten by the library through inter library loan if someone wants to read them.
Weeding and discard of books are very thorough processes, and as the thread says books in good condition that would be useful elsewhere are donated, or sometimes sold to fundraise for the library. Many libraries will also have a cart of free books for people to take if they want.
If, after all this work, and evaluation, and opportunities for reuse, a book is placed in a dumpster, it’s because it isnt needed or useful anywhere else.
Again, this is not the same thing as banning books or burning them. If that were the case we’d be talking about stuff like trumps autobiographies, not outdated books from the 70s that haven’t been circulating.
I left a similar but longer comment on a different thread of this post but it is in a way fascinating to see what’s come of the education system teaching the concept of book burning as like, the nazis piling up whatever books they could find and lighting them on fire for fun.
Book burning is the specific concentrated effort to eradicate specific information, it’s not just the literal act of destroying a book.

r/195 was just a place for some roomates to post memes, and it was named after their apartment number. There was only one rule: if you visit the sub, you must make a post before leaving. The sub eventually grew in popularity, the original members couldn't keep up with the demands of moderating it, and they closed it down. Soon after, r/196 was born and eventually far outgrew its progenitor.
r/196 also kind of just organically grew into a left-leaning, LGBTQ+ positive space. This was possibly helped because at the start, the only available user flair (a little phrase or icon that appears by your username on posts and comments) was "trans rights".
