i have a very important question for people not from South America, are/were sticker albums a thing in your country? Like a 20 page booklet of collectible stickers with numbers where you bought packets to complete it? And you got some sort of prize if you did so? They made them for movies, tv shows, big events like the World Cup or the Olympics, popular toys (I got a “free” bionicle for completing that one)
#i know other South American countries have them#bc sometimes the hard to get stickers where common in other countries so there was market for buying foreign ones#and also due to licensing issues during a worldcup it was imposible to get Chilean team stickers in chile so you either had to#get counterfeits that looked like shit or have a relative in peru or agentina that could get you a shit ton
