Fic Requests are open or technically have been for a while, but I don’t remember if I made a post recently stating that. Feel free to send in requests inspired off of either prompt list or just random requests. :)

If this helps, I will happily write for Fruits Basket, Yona Of The Dawn, Snow White With The Red Hair, Fullmetal Alchemist(Brotherhood, ‘03, Manga), Chuck, and probably many more series. :)  I’m eager to write more JaeYona leading up to JaeYona Week, so feel free to send me JaeYona requests. (Yona Of The Dawn)  I’ve written both Charah and Morgan X Alex for Chuck. (And I’m always down to write platonic fics for Chuck or for any series.) :) I apparently love writing Casey a lot!  I’d love some requests to get over any bit of writer’s block, that I have or will have. And I love a brand new challenge. I write platonic fics (family, friendship, etc...), and T or lower rating pairing fics. (For both rare pairs and popular pairings.)  In no order, since it’s on my mind, the list of romantic pairings I’ve written for Yona Of The Dawn so far. (JaeYona, HakYona, Zeno X Kaya, Zeno X Yona, Kija X Yona, Shin-Ah X Yona, Soo-Won X Yona...) (I think that’s all the pairings I’ve written, but I’m not sure. I don’t ship all of them, but I’ve written at least one fic for each of them.) :)  For Snow White With The Red Hair, I’ve written ZenYuki, MitsuKiki, ObiKiki, IzanaYuki, ObiYuki, MitsuYuki, Zen X Kihal, Raji X Kihal, RajiYuki, ZenKiki, and possibly more pairings; that’s all I can think of off the top of my head. :)  Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist, I’ve mostly written for back in the past (though will randomly write for much more recently), and the pairings are all over the place. (Probably too many to list for FMA.) But nowadays, I will not always write for the same pairings I used to. But I will happily write rare pairs and canon pairings. So, feel free to send in requests. :)  Regardless of my pairing lists of what I’ve written, I will gladly write for other pairings as well. Just either haven’t written for them yet or forgot I wrote for them. So, if you have a rare pair, I may be able to write it for you. (Some pairings I won’t write for, but if I can’t fill a request, I’ll let you know right away.) :)

Hahaha, it was just another crack continuation of this, where Kazuki asks Mukaze to adopt Torou because he's so impressed by her skills in rescuing Mihaya. Kazuki's life philosophy is wanting everyone he's impressed with to be part of his family, and barring that, part of the Lion's. Torou is not sure whether to be touched or offended 😋.

you have to be fucking alive and passionate and electric - it can’t be intellectual, in the end, it has to be about connection and the sweating, cheering, jeering, bleeding masses you’re performing to, because make no mistake, shakespeare may go to lofty heights, but he only works if you’re just as grounded in the earth. he has to be in your body. he has to be in your body.

If I remember correctly, this is also why the witches chant in Macbeth is so unnerving; it’s a reverse pentameter. The emphasis is shifted to the first syllable, rather than the second, like in the rest of the play (and in pretty much all the other plays Shakespeare wrote). 

Compare the witches chant to the “to be or not to be” monologue (emphasis in italics):

“double double toil and trouble” vs “to be or not to be”

It’s disarming to hear the chant when you’re in the language of Shakespeare because it in against the inherent rules of the script.

It’s actually not reverse pentameter (that’s the number of feet in the line, not the meter), it’s reverse iambs.

The term for this meter is trochaic, and yeah. It is meant to make us feel uncomfortable. Shakespeare is amazingggggg

i see billboards advertising botox, with big pictures of women with perfect faces. i see billboards for "gentlemans clubs" with silhouettes of impossibly-proportioned bodies in sexual poses. victoria's secret ads, thin-waisted nearly-nude women, posing to be attractive to men when their customers are women.

and i think about being a little girl, who's parents are so careful not to let her on the internet, to protect her, just innocently looking out the window at the countryside on the highway and seeing those images sprinkled into it, her own objectification in fields and against the woods, she can't escape it. and her brother sitting next to her, learning something very different.

Anything in public should be PG or at least safe for work. Fight me
