At age 23, Tina Fey was working at a YMCA. At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job.  At age 24, Stephen King was working as a janitor and living in a trailer.

At age 27, Vincent Van Gogh failed as a missionary and decided to go to art school.   At age 28, J.K. Rowling was a suicidal single parent living on welfare.

At age 28, Wayne Coyne ( from The Flaming Lips) was a fry cook. At age 30, Harrison Ford was a carpenter.  At age 30, Martha Stewart was a stockbroker.  At age 37, Ang Lee was a stay-at-home-dad working odd jobs. Julia Child released her first cookbook at age 39, and got her own cooking show at age 51. Vera Wang failed to make the Olympic figure skating team, didn’t get the Editor-in-Chief position at Vogue, and designed her first dress at age 40. Stan Lee didn’t release his first big comic book until he was 40. Alan Rickman gave up his graphic design career and landed his first movie role at age 42. Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his first major movie role until he was 46.

Morgan Freeman landed his first major movie role at age 52. Kathryn Bigelow won the Academy Award for Best Director when she made The Hurt Locker at age 57. Grandma Moses didn’t begin her painting career until age 76. Louise Bourgeois didn’t become a famous artist until she was 78. Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it.

Never tell yourself you missed your chance.

Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough.

You can do it. Whatever it is.

I know I want to tell something.

But then, there's no one to talk to.

And somehow, I can't find the words.

Anuna??

My therapist asked me to create something “motivating” so I made these.

I really love these, and I reblog them every single time. Some of you don’t realize how easy it’s to forget to do some of those stuff or how hard they can be some days.

5 Signs You’re Living In Your Comfort Zone

1. Boredom - the absence of change. One of the most telltale signs that we’re trapped in a comfort zone is feeling like we don’t know what to do with our time. This is coming from a lack of direction - purpose can only be created outside of the comfort zone.

2. Distractions - occupying our time carelessly. Distracting ourselves with TV, video games, drugs & relationships is a result of living in our comfort zone. We can either choose to distract ourselves or solve the root of the issue.

3. Excuses - justifications for not taking action. When we find ourselves making excuses for why we aren’t taking action it is because we’ve become relaxed in the comfort zone and do not want to make ourselves uncomfortable.

4. Limitations - not achieving our goals. If our dreams remain unfulfilled this will lead to unfulfillment in other areas of our lives and soon we find ourselves settling for a life of limitation rather than creating the reality we desire.

5. Resistance - fighting change. When we oppose change we are creating resistance and whatever we resist will persist. We fight change when we are trying to cling on to whatever change is removing from our lives because we desire comfort. The key to releasing resistance is to let go by practicing detachment.

A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing grows there.

Sana umulan.

Dko alam pero may kung ano ang ulan na kapag malungkot ka, kadamay mo sya.

Sana umulan. Let it rain hard.
