I've been reblogging those posts about "Don't boycott Kellogg" bc the strikers didn't ask for it, but now Kellog is just hiring scabs and their food is hitting the shelves fucked up—cracker sandwiches without filling, poptarts without icing, cereal without marshmallows, and string and plastic and weird mysterious black stuff in popcorn... so, yeah. don't buy Kellogg for your own safety

As of the negotiations falling through on the 8th, strikers have called for a boycott just fyi!! Not boycotting was better for their negotiations, but there are no longer any negotiations as kellogg’s has elected to replace the union. don’t buy kellogg’s products!!

the strike is over as of today (december 211, 2021), with the union victorious (x)! all demands of striking workers are being met.

"The Kalaupapa Leprosy Settlement acts to preserve the sites of the former leper colonies on the island of Molokai. Created in 1865 in order to isolate cases of leprosy, these sites were extremely popular for Christian missionaries. The isolation of sufferers of leprosy began during the influx of western business interests and grew strongest upon the overthrow of Queen Lili‘uokalani. The colonies on Molokai were set up to keep them far away from popular tourist destinations, segregating large portions of Native Hawaiians and leaving them in the hands of Christian missionaries. These missionaries, while arguably helping those suffering the disease, used their position to further push Christianity in the islands. They blamed the illnesses on the “sins” of the indigenous people, essentially saying that the Hawaiians were at fault for the deaths of their people because they were "dirty". The missionaries who arrived brought with them countless diseases as well that furthered the death and suffering. Hundreds of thousands of deaths occurred at this time, leading to a sharp decline in the population of Native Hawaiians. Missionaries used these deaths to call for the “civilization” of the indigenous people, stating the reason so many did not survive was due to their religious practices, clothing, and overall way of life. This epidemic not only allowed Christian missionaries to overtake much of Hawai’i, but also led to the deaths of thousands and is a large reason that the Native Hawaiian population is so small today."

the news is bad sometimes

Okay but what’s the phone

thats what cain used to kill abel

Okay but for real think of the possibilities.

  • People in remote areas (both recreationally and living) - hiking or dangerous areas if they’re lost, hurt, or scouting ahead
  • Homeless people
  • Disabled people (to alert for help or contact vital services
  • Areas of extreme poverty (see all above)
  • Lost people (either urban or rural) able to call for help
  • Somebody close to death able to record all final thoughts (either injured, terminal, trapped, or unable to have constant medical care)
  • Children always able to call for help
  • Abused people - hiding a phone without worrying about it needing to be recharged

it isn’t bad at all, we’re just so used to phone companies trying to make paper thin phones with no battery life cause it’s good for business

I need thiccc boi phone

Hey so my hobby in the last week or so has been of building a giant glass ball in Minecraft, 64 block in diameter, put a wall in its centre and fill one half with water, with lava in the other. Here’s the result :

Nonbinary people who are AMAB are allowed to use she/her pronouns and nothing else, by the way. They’re still 100% nonbinary

Nonbinary people who are AMAB are allowed to use he/him pronouns and nothing else, by the way. They’re still 100% nonbinary

Nonbinary people who are AMAB are allowed to dress feminine. They’re allowed to dress masculine.

They’re allowed to start HRT, or choose not to.

They’re still nonbinary. They deserve respect.

Some of you see nonbinary as nothing more than “woman lite” or “GNC AFAB” and it shows. You’re all disgusting<3

A not so kind fuck you to people who view being non binary like that
