how
The feeling is back again
Like an old friend
the kind you wish
had stayed away
They never treat you right
always lead you astray
It begins as a reaching
stretching out to
find meaning
This restless, desperate feeling
that I need to unravel
and understand
Telling me to move fast
or I’ll miss my chance
Trying to tell myself
there’s nothing to unwind
No hidden symbols
just loose wires in my mind
tied in circular knots
that keep spiralling down
I need to jump off
Just breathe and feel the ground
