square-enix sure knows how to make their boss designs memorable! the bottom pic is a wip of scathach, one of the latest bosses for patch 3.5 in ffxiv =) my nephew often asks to see my drawings, but my sister joked that most of my stuff isn’t pg-friendly hehe, so the top pic is a somewhat tamer version!

hello, been a long while since i posted again hehe. well, i’m pretty stoked for ffxv so i decided to draw my favorite female character, gentiana! was glad we finally got to see her in-game in the new trailer.
so many theories surrounding her...i can’t wait to finally find out what’s her story.
anyway, i took a lot of liberties with the patterns =) which was pretty fun, but i hope can find a proper look at her dress design in the artbook for the game.

hello, been a while =) will be posting some things soon, but in the meantime, here is some overwatch fun! just a rough concept for a skin for widowmaker, inspired by her let them eat cake line, i call it red velvet cake. alt colour for it would be rich browns and called chocolat! i’ll draw a proper picture of this and work out the details later.
i’m really impressed with the world building of the game! so looking forward to more of the story and the new heroes =)

today marks the 10th anniversary for final fantasy xii! this is my favorite ff game in the ps2/ps3 eras =) i’m looking forward to the hd remaster!
anyway, these three are my absolute favorites in the game (i didn’t really care for the other three...). Though I do wish we had the option to keep basch’s full beard hehe.

here is my final fan design of the three rumored new jobs coming in 4.0 for ffxiv =) samurai! hopefully, can tell it’s supposed to be a roegadyn hehe.
the details took quite a long time to figure out, as i used references for samurai gear as well as from ffxi. i also contemplated having him wield a naginata instead, but went for the traditional giant katana (nodachi/odachi). still, would be cool if they ended up using naginata in the expansion!

inked the blue mage sketch from yesterday =) wanted to draw all three possible (?) new jobs coming in ffxiv! i love ffxi’s blue mage design, so i kept elements from that, as well as the feather from tactics advance i also decided on a whip weapon, as i feel like there are enough bladed weapons in the game already =P plus, quistis trepes of ffviii is a blue mage herself!
there are things i wish i could have done a bit better and/or fix, but most important thing is i’m feeling more comfortable using pens =) hopefully more practice i can refine things much, much better down the line.

g’morning =) here is today’s warm-up pic and inking practice. decided to do a pin-up style pic of all three designs i made for fun. i probably will change things a bit as i ink the blue mage and samurai full sketches posted earlier! there are a lot of things i wish i could change with this, but using a pen, i’m trying to get more used to accepting what i’m putting down hehe.
anyway, i’m hoping with more practice, i can do more confident line-work and do full illustrations like this =)

a few more pen practices =) decided to ink the warm-up from the other day! i still have a lot to learn using pens, but i am feeling more comfortable now. i think i will ink my warm-ups from now on instead of just leaving them as pencils =)
