Omg Suzy you’re so crazy
Teaching children thinking bad thoughts about someone is the same thing as murdering that person is fucked up.
Thought crime doesn’t exist. No one has ever been harmed or killed by someone thinking negative thoughts about them.
You know what has harmed people though? Teaching them they are evil for things they can’t control. Especially those who have intrusive thoughts.
Here’s for everyone who has been taught their thoughts make them evil.
- Intrusive thoughts are not your secret desires.
- They are involuntary.
- You don’t need to be ashamed of them.
- They will pass.
- You are not committing taboo.
- No one can read your mind.
- No one will ever know what’s in your thoughts unless you feel like telling them.
- No one can judge you for what you are thinking, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.
- Your thoughts are private
- You are not a bad person.
I’ve held a lot of regret over having negative thoughts about people in my life. I’ve never acted on them or hurt anybody but there’s a lot of stigma around thoughts that we are taught as kids.
Oddly specific. Got a deposit for 6,837 today
fuck it, i never ever do those “reblog for X, this one really works!” posts, but this one doesn’t have any of that BS, this is just straight up wishing us good things; and then the comment doesn’t even say any of that either. Zero claims on this post, all positive vibes
May you end this week feeling ever more certain of a future you’ll love

A Word of Caution When Using Spell Books
This post is for all magick practitioners but especially for new witches. When looking to cast a spell from a spell book please bare in mind that most of these books just give you spells. And even the ones that do have a little general information about witchcraft rarely cover everything or anything about the spells in the book. There are books that I own that have spells in them that require you call on any number of entities from demons to fairies to angels. But none of them actually explain what they are, the author will just have the name of the demon or the type of angel or fairy to call on. Without even saying what the entity is or even that it is an entity. With that being said, when looking at spell books research the spell before casting it, especially if you see something you're unfamiliar with.
Note: I know some people often brush off caution when it comes to witchcraft. And feel like someone telling them they may want to consider something before casting a spell is that person not minding their own cauldron. But I just thought I'd put this out there, by all means if this is not something you wish to do, please disregard this post.

love to be vague & brief. love also to ramble & be highly detailed. depends, really. duality. range
I also love to be highly detailed and brief as well as be vague but ramble
If you are a Wiccan, know that a lot of the rituals you perform and what you do are closed practices of indigenous peoples and poc. Good news though! Do research into the magick you perform, understanding the background of the practice and you can fall out of the dangerous loophole.
To the girl who got really close to my face, took a deep breath, and told me my breath stinks in 2nd grade. I hope you know I think about it a lot. It caused me a lot of anxiety and self consciousness for the rest of my life. I don’t go out without brushing my teeth twice and chewing gum and eating mints throughout the day.
“If you have time to be on social media, you also have time for…” “If you have time to watch Netflix, you also have time for…” Yeah, but do I have the energy for it? Do I have the emotional and mental capacity for it? Am I pain-free enough for it? Can I focus on it? Can I do it without leaving my bed? Can I safely do it without risk of (physically or emotionally) injuring myself by pushing past my boundaries?
Hello, witches! Since I’m always harping on about learning your history and checking your sources, I thought I’d help folks get a head start by compiling some source material.
To that end, I’ve started a Dropbox folder with a stash of historical texts on witchcraft, magic, and related topics. Nearly everything I’ve managed to find so far is public domain (thank you Project Gutenberg), with the exception of a very thorough herbal grimoire I found online some years ago and a book of witchcraft from the 1970s that appears to be out of print.
I will be continuing in this vein with future texts that I find. Everything will be public domain or cited to the source that it came from, in PDF format. I will NOT be including PDFs of any book currently in circulation with a copyright linked to a living author or estate. The point of this folder is that everything in it should be free for sharing and open use as research materials.
Below is the initial list of titles. I tried to include as many as I could find, with a focus on some oft-cited classics. I will be adding new texts as I find them.
- A Collection of Rare and Curious Tracts on Witchcraft and the Second Sight, by David Webster (1820)
