one of the most important things, perhaps the most important thing I have learned in my life is that nice people can fuck each other up in monstrous ways. people can be bone deep kind and loving and self reflective and still lash out under pressure. people can be earnestly neighbourly and charitable and hospitable and generous and still find themselves in situations where they become selfish. people can be well meaning and easygoing and gregarious and hold deep seated opinions that turn them into vicious little bullies under the right conditions. nobody is just one thing, and nobody stays one way. every person is a kaleidoscope and they will surprise you. you will surprise yourself. it's not a warning and it's not a judgement and it's not an excuse, and it's certainly not a reason to stop trying or to stop trusting. it is just a fact.
Consider warmup painting of Papa Terzo done 🫡
@thebandghostofficial I'm giving you peepaw Terzo as an offering 🫴
Um..If I may ask? @thebandghostofficial What your opinion on Secondo?

I did hear you guys think he looks like a pitbull or something like that… I think you’re right
Friendly reminder that LGBTQ+, Queer, and LGBT+ are the preferred terms for the community (x).
Friendly reminder that Queer is approved by 72.9% of the people, and the groups who don’t prefer it’s use as an umbrella term are straight people, exclusionists, transmeds, truscums, sex-negative people, and sex work critical people (x).
Friendly reminder that aros and aces are excluded only 9.2% / 8.1% of the time respectively while being included 78.9% / 81.2% of the time (x)
Friendly reminder that exclusionists are in the minority and aro/ace people are included in the LGBTQ+ community by the people within the community.
Also, i checked out the survey the second claim sources a while back: this is not OP choosing the words truscum, exclusionist, etc. These are labels that the survey gave people the option to self-identify as. It’s self-proclaimed exclusionists who dont like the word queer, not random accusations
yeah that’s super important.
This one gets reblogged on main. The reclassification of ‘queer’ as an inexcusable slur is a recent development which stems in part from exclusionist rhetoric. We reclaimed it decades ago. Learn our history. You are not immune to TERF propaganda, but you can absolutely choose to educate yourself to spite it.
Be kind. 💜
pardon me, @thebandghostofficial but may we know you’re sexuality by any chance? Just curious that’s all
I’m multi-talented…
What about papa Terzo's sexuality?
he’s just dead…
No, no.. he’s not dead he’s just having his sleeping beauty moment as he waits for me to give him true love’s kiss
It didn’t work. Sorry. The Snapchat filters did though
Even a sovereign must set down his burdens and rest. Dead or not,,,
Reblog this if anyone is welcome to click on your account and send you messages or ask you anything, randomly.
Let’s keep our blogs alive
y'know, its okay to say "i'm just not into that group" and be done with it. like that is a valid enough reason. you dont have to make up a reason to justify not being into a group. you really dont have to make it deep
we need more women. 3,822,561,000 isn't enough.
thank you trans women

everyone responding to this with "kids today are discussing things like this because we've traumatized their generation" is the funniest part of this post
I don't know what teenage girl needs to hear this, but that older man in your dms on your coquette blog is intentionally trying to sexually abuse and sexually exploit you and many other teenage girls. You are not special to that man; he's making an effort to manipulate you and other girls your age because he thinks you're an easy, exploitable target. He wants to get your nudes, use you for his entertainment and abandon you for another underage girl who thinks the attention is fun at the time. There's a reason he has to go after young girls instead of women his own age; they know he's predatory and evil. That's a child predator. Block him and warn other young girls if you can
full offense but none of you would have ever survived fanfiction.net in 2009
remember when writers had to be all like: “omg omg lemon starts HERE” y’all are lucky that ao3 has tags and filters you can set
Sometimes shit was marked “lemon” and it’d just be them making out, and sometimes they’d just start pissing on each other
No rules, no laws, you took your life into your hands opening fics

do you think the obsession with ‘style consistency’ in online art communities is mostly caused by this idea that your art style needs to be easily marketable & recognizable as a brand (especially when you’re working as a freelancer). i see the /least/ amount of progress in my art whenever i try to aim for style consistency. i don’t know exactly where i’m going with this but i think there’s some sort of connection between trying to monetize/market your art & limiting your growth as an artist. and i think it’s very sad.
