this is a sea turtle. I know they can live for over 500 years but I never knew they got this big

this is a loggerhead sea turtle! they do get quite large, but they generally live for 50-60 years. i.. have no clue where you got 500 from! you might be thinking of tortoises, who are known for their very long lifespans.

note: perspective is at play here, this turtle is about the size shown in the chart.
