i think having worked a retail or food service job actually is more important to not being a loser than doing drugs or having sex. the poll that showed so much of this site has never worked one of those jobs was actually way more concerning to me than any of the celibacy sweep polls
i always think it's mental when certain people are like we should delegate political power to scientists and other "responsible" professionals as if surgeons and celebrity physics professors are not the biggest sociopathic pedophiles in society
physics institutions need to do more to punish acts of blatant narcissism (eg book publishing, active twitter presence) and, considering the venn diagram of culprits is almost a circle, consequently crack down on the number of nonces/otherwise sex criminals in their ranks
