Most comics I read give me 1-3 pages weekly or less. I'm sure everyone would understand if the comic became normally uploaded lol cuz it's God aura rn XD
this ask is so funnily timed bc i'm about to take a much longer chapter break than usual! lol ty for your concern, but i like doin 4-5 pages. if it ever gets to be more than i can handle i'll switch, but rn it's alright as long as i give myself some reasonable breaks. i'm tryna wrap this comic up before i'm 85 haha

I really wanted to just say how amazing STBU is. It’s been one of my favorite webcomics ever for a few years now and it’s always so fun waking up to a new update on Wednesdays. Your art is so fun and expressive and the characters are all so fun to spend time with in the story and I just wanted to express how wonderful it is !!! thank you so much T_T i've been getting a few asks like this lately about stbu and I really do appreciate it. It's so nice to hear how others enjoy and engage with it because I think my perspective on it can get pretty lost bc of how tunnel visioned I am on the project.
like there is a massive and strange gap between me writing and drawing this at 19 to me still writing and drawing this at 26; yet it's just all completely encased throughout one piece of art. I just keep becoming a new person all the time throughout writing it in a way that's really difficult to tell is enjoyable to other people or is at least like, cohesive. there's like 6 years worth of tess corpses in there encased in one giant block of cartoonish amber. it is a story about ghosts that is, ironically, chock full of ghosts of who i used to be and have yet to used to be. i feel super normal about it
i really do love it though! dunno why God gave me all this passion but it sure does keep me chugging. Even if this project does end up being a massive consuming vortex of my own archived pscyhe that I am just like, chucking time into, I'm happy that I'm making it and that others can get a kick out of it as well. lol!
