How do you do your halftones? (My gf and I love your comics from Twitter and ahh)
tyy!! I'm not really sure how to answer this question because I don't know how other people tend to do their halftones, to use as a frame of reference, but I'll try my best!

HELLOOOO I hope you've had a good day :D I was just wondering how you end up with the colours for ur compositions :O? Are you the type to use a lot of colour adjustment layers (multiply, overlay, etc) to get at a satisfying hue, or do you just eyeball directly from the colour wheel? I remember you saying for one of ur pieces that u eyedropped directly from like,,, a dead corpse of some animal XD but i assume that isnt ur process for everything hahaha. Do you use a lot of references for the specific vibe you wanna convey?

The way I made the zolu playlist drawings isn't my Usual drawing / coloring process but I formed some sort of Strategy for it
Actually I think sharing the literal refs I used for each image would be fun and maybe demystify the art process

i love your postcard artwork for the zolu playlist SO much!! the colours are so so good and i love the brushwork! i think my favourites are a tie between the one for chikai and the one for simple song <3 also, I was wondering if you could share what brushes you used + how long they took you! looking at your art makes me want to draw again after not doing it for so long

I know it's less of a "thing" these days but as w any of my art, u (and all my followers) have my permission to print out the tiny versions i've posted to tumblr [just for personal use, not for profit] & put them up on your wall or w/e. like those old-school anime collages.
If I do ever make a better print-size version, and u still want it, u can always buy it whenever that happens :)

Posting these here now that they're all done :) Wanted to do some drawings for the short version of my zolu playlist, and was inspired by ao to make them postcard-sized. Did two versions of the last song since there were an uneven number of songs.
(Not organized sequentially / by timeline, just organized to make the playlist nice to listen to)
