Mara (also Marena, Marzanna, Morena, Morana) is female mythological creature associated with winter’s death and rebirth and dreams.

Her name most likely comes from the Proto-Indo-European root *mar-, *mor-, signifying death. In Belarusian, Polish, Ukrainian and in some Russian dialects the word ‘mara’ means ‘phantom’, ‘vision’, ‘hallucination’.

☠ Sick animals and/or plants: Animals are often effected by their owner’s negative or attacked aura or energy and may become sick and even die if you are under attack. Plants are the same way, and also absorb negative energy and try to protect you from curses, therefore becoming sick and also dying.

☠ Dead insects: Finding dead insects is not a good sign, especially those who eat dead or rotting meat.

☠ Thoughts of suicide: Sudden thoughts of suicide are usually the last sign of a serious curse or attack. *Seek help if you have thoughts of suicide or hurting yourself.
