om! & twisted wonderland blog | requests are OPEN| 24 | nonbinary lesbian | bpd, ocd, c-ptsd be mindful | no terfs/swerfs

master post of my bullshit

howdy, yall, you can call me dollie (my author pseudonym) or rexxie. i'm a 24-year-old femme nonbinary lesbian. my accepted pronouns are they/them. please do not refer to me as a woman or as female. it makes me deeply uncomfortable. feminine or femme is ok.

i just make shitposts about my current fixations - shall we date: obey me!, dangerous fellows, twisted wonderland and genshin impact.

i am on lesson 30 of obey me! and am still in mondstadt in genshin impact, so no spoilers please! as for dangerous fellows, i have completed all but lawrence's route and i don't mind if you spoil it. as for twisted wonderland, i am currently on book four.

my ask box is open if you want to hear my thoughts on certain events, want me to write an imagine or have a request. please do not send me a chat message unless we know each other.

i also have an AO3 page you can check out.

obviously, terfs and swerfs dni. trans women are women. trans men are men. sex work is real work. get off my blog if you disagree.

WHAT CAN I REQUEST?

WHAT I WRITE FOR:

shall we date? obey me! genshin impact dangerous fellows twisted wonderland

WHO I'LL WRITE FOR:

obey me: demon brothers, dateables, raphael, thirteen

dangerous fellows: everyone

twisted wonderland: leona, malleus, lilia, cater, trey, rook, vil, idia

WHO I DEFINITELY WON'T WRITE FOR:

om!: luke, michael, demon king, god

genshin: anyone under 18 - rest assured i have looked up the ages of all the characters i will write for before making these lists and double-checked other sources to be sure. (if you see someone on my write for list you think is underage, please message me respectfully - as far as i know, mihoyo has not released official ages and i am relying on information from the internet.)

twisted wonderland: anyone under 18

WHAT CONTENT WILL I WRITE:

- smut

- angst

- fluff

- light bdsm

- breeding/impregnation

- female and gn reader

- unnamed female and gn mc

- scat/watersports

- dubcon/sa

- paedophilia

- kidnapping

- vore

- breathplay

- ddlg/sexualized age regression

- self harm/suicidal gestures

- male reader (i am slightly uncomfortable writing m/m content as an afab person - i love and respect gay men, but i feel as though i am not capable of writing it in a way that would appeal to male readers and would thus end up only filling a stereotype about lesbians writing b/l for female readers.)

- furry/scaly (i will admit this is more ignorance than preference - i don't know enough about either community to feel comfortable writing about them. furries and scalies are 100% welcome on this blog, however!)

- yandere - as someone with borderline personality disorder, i am deeply uncomfortable with my mental illness being fetishized. i'm not calling anyone out for, nor will i attack anyone who does write it, but i do reserve the write to deny asks about it on my own blog

I NOW HAVE A LIST OF CURRENT WIPS! CHECK IT OUT HERE.
IF YOU CAN HELP MY FAMILY THROUGH SOME DIFFICULT FINANCIAL STRUGGLES, PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING TO MY MOTHER AND I'S PAYPAL HERE

I got a training bra for the first time (I am transfem) and oh my gosh it is so comfortable!!!! I'm wearing it at work today, it's like a hug and it's very affirming, I love it!!

BOOBS SWEAT ?????!??!???

pro tip from your local nb:

you can use antiperspirant under your titties! shit's a life saver!

I know, I know, gatekeeping the outdoors, that's supposedly bad, right, but I think if you show up to do a hike and you brought a portable speaker with you to play music while you hike, I think, like hear me out, there should be a gate, and someone at the gate should keep you from doing the hike.

playing music in public should get strong social disapproval

Recorded music, anyway. Live music is different rules. If you want to lug an entire cello up a mountain you can do whatever the hell you want.

Carrying a speaker on a hike to make everyone listen to your bullshit, and simply sitting under a tree and playing a fiddle in the woods, are two activities so different they may as well not exist in the same world.

I think the critical difference is that the bringing of recorded music with you ties the space to Elsewhere, whereas the creation of live music with an instrument you brought both binds you to the space, and drags everyone who hears you play into it as well.

I think you're right.

Yeah I'll accept this into my belief system.

it's like

a different vibe, y'know?

hell i'll take a guitar on the subway over a speaker.

bringing an instrument to a public space feels like the local bard has graced you with their presence.

One of the most interesting things I’ve noticed about non-natives appropriating our stuff is they never want anything but sage, smudging, and feathers.

Native people will share: our food, our music, our dancing, our art.

But no one is interested in those. They don’t CARE about our food and music. We never see those things in popular culture. Non-natives just want to take our religious items, because they feel entitled to the things people don’t want to share.

A Tribe Called Red (techno Native beats):

Taboo #noDAPL protest music (Native Hip Hop):

Supaman (Prayer loop song, Rap)

Check em out. Add on. Support Native Artists. Spread the love y'all

Good musical options. 🙌🏼

I FRICKIN LOVE A TRIBE CALLED RED!!! Seriously, listen to their stuff it’s so good!!!

Adding to this:

Music!

Snotty Nosed Rez Kids (”I Remember My Name” Native hip-hop)

Frank Waln (”Wokiksuye” Rap)

JB the First Lady (”The Most Unprotected Girl” R&B)

Clothes! There’s also a lot of Native designers doing amazing work blending old and new styles. These are two of my favorites

Food! There’s a been a major resurgence of interest in indigenous foods lead by Native chefs, many of whom are on youtube!

Sean Sherman - maybe one of the most famous Native chefs. There’s a great little video on him here and his website is here!

Dance! This one is a little trickier because no, you, non-Native person absolutely should not dance at the powwows unless it’s an open dance AND you’ve been invited to do so. (And if you have, please don’t do the white hippie dance. Please.) However, you can and absolute come out and support the circuit & the dancers. Some of my favorite dancers/competitions:

O.B. (Ohh Bizz) who mostly does grass dancing. (Yeah, I know he hasn’t updated in forever. the #NoDAPL protests derailed a lot of people’s lives.) He’s a lot of fun to watch and a complete sweetheart.

FNUC Powwow 2019 (also, yes, the announcer is pretty much typical for a powwow. You want a person who can roast literally everyone in a 10 mile radius? A powwow announcer can do that.)

And here’s the 2019 Grass Dance Finals at Little Creek

Reblogging again for most excellent additions!

CBC (Canadian broadcasting corporation) has native music show called reclaimed. You can stream it online anywhere from their website. And I think you can even make playlists.

Slightly off topic, but if you’re interested in Native American cooking, go and get yourself a copy of The Sioux Chef. It’s a really good book with some fantastic recipes in there

if you learn any kind of native food to make, learn to make bannock or fry bread.

they're relatively easy to learn for beginners and you can find recipes all over the internet.

happy pride to trans people who medically transitioned

happy pride to trans people who are medically transitioning

happy pride to trans people who aren’t able to medically transition

happy pride to trans people who don’t want to medically transition

happy pride to literally all trans people, you’re valid no matter your choices regarding your transition

women who've done porn are still entitled to the bodily autonomy of not showing you their body.

i don't care how many guys you've seen 'violently railing' her

she still has a right to say no.

ok but seriously why is “much older internet friend uses you as their personal suicide hotline” such a universal experience for kids on the internet. fyi for any kids/teens following me if an adult tries to make you be their therapist just flat out block them you dont have to explain yourself or try to reason with them and ur not responsible for their mental well-being. just block them

Feminist fantasy is funny sometimes in how much it wants to shit on femininity for no goddamned reason. Like the whole “skirts are tools of the patriarchy made to cripple women into immobility, breeches are much better” thing.

(Let’s get it straight: Most societies over history have defaulted to skirts for everyone because you don’t have to take anything off to relieve yourself, you just have to squat down or lift your skirts and go. The main advantage of bifurcated garments is they make it easier to ride horses. But Western men wear pants so women wearing pants has become ~the universal symbol of gender equality~)

The book I’m reading literally just had its medievalesque heroine declare that peasant women wear breeches to work in the field because “You can’t swing a scythe in a skirt!”

Hm yes story checks out

peasant women definitely never did farm labour in skirts

skirts definitely mean you’re weak and fragile and can’t accomplish anything

skirts are definitely bad and will keep you from truly living life

no skirts for anyone, that’s definitely the moral of the story here

Now, a skirt that's too long will be harder to work in--skirts brushing the floor may look elegant, but is also a tripping hazard--but that is not a problem with skirts in general, it's a problem with that particular skirt not being suited to being worked in. Skirts are very practical. You can hike them up if you're hot or need more freedom to maneuver (this is called "girding your loins"). If you need to carry something, you can lift up your hem and make a pouch just like the person in yellow in the bottom picture above. If you need to handle something hot, a skirt generally has enough material you can hold it out from your body to use as a hot pad. (Tight skirts were only used by people who didn't need to work/move until the invention of elastic fabric.)

Long skirts were markers of class almost as much as gender. Both men and women in the European middle ages wore extravagantly long garments to indicate both “I’m so rich I can afford THIS MUCH fabric” and “I don’t walk in the mud, I pay servants to do that for me.”

Skirt hiking: Definitely a Thing. (Janet’s tied her kirtle green/above the knee and not below...)

god yes, these writers somehow don’t realise that when they do this all they are doing is betraying their own hatred of femininity which..... is feminist how exactly?

plus the idea that putting your hair up and/or covering it somehow indicates repression

like. you can’t work with your hair flowing in the wind, no matter how cool it looks when you’re standing dramatically on a cliff

I got an ask once with someone incredulous at the idea that peasant women put their hair up every day, too. because we associate updos with formality now, it can be difficult to explain that not only is it easy to pin up your hair if you do the same style every day, but it’s pretty much necessary if you have long hair and do any kind of physical labor

also. open flame and lots of it. just saying

this energy for corsets and structured undergarments too!

can we remember that we're criticizing taylor swift and her fans for being racist/excusing racism

and not because taylor swift's music is popular with young women?

you don't have to be misogynistic about calling out women.

Someone said no to aftercare and I just wanna say if you have any type of kinky/rough sex and you don’t make sure the other person is okay afterwards you’re a piece of shit, thanks for coming to my TEDtalk

transphobe: you can't change your gender snowflake, you're delusional!

also transphobe: men NEED to do this or they aren't men.

End blood quantum now

Blood quantum is how much native blood you have in you and it needs to be a certain threshold to qualify you as a tribal member. Blood quantum varies from tribe to tribe.

It means my mom is a tribal member but because my dad is outside of my tribe... I don't have enough tribal blood to enroll. Neither does my daughter. Our "official" indigeneity ended with me.

My dad is still native tho. Just southern native. Others have two parents enrolled in separate tribes and can't enroll in either one despite being Full native because their parents were mixed with other tribes so they don't have enough blood of Any tribe to qualify.

And to what end are they doing this?

Under the treaties the US govt can lay no claim to native land. So how do they fix that? Get rid of the natives, of course.

And since they can't slaughter us in broad daylight anymore they did the next best thing. What the colonial government has ALWAYS done to us and other poc.

Made up a bunch of arbitrary laws to restrain and limit our power and numbers.

And this can't continue. We are the only race who needs to apply to be part of the community we were born into. The only race who needs to prove our blood.

And that's the thing: it's not even based on blood. Racist scientists defined who was a full-blooded native based on things like shoe size, head circumference, and skin pigment.

Not blood. And besides that it wasn't uncommon for outsiders to become part of a tribe!! You didn't need to be native by blood to be native! Blood quantum has made it IMPOSSIBLE for them to qualify and made it impossible for tribes to practice that long time aspect of our culture.

So please share this post. So many people legitimately think natives are extinct and even less are aware that we do more than just sit around drinking all day. Few people have good feelings about us and within that there are a few who actively help. Please be one of those few.

We need support and allies and for our voices to be heard. Please don't let this post just be me screaming into a void. We need people to know what blood quantum is, how archaic and harmful it is, and to help us spread awareness to people who otherwise would ignore us. Use your privilege.

At the center of this is blood quantum, the system imposed by the U.S. government to determine tribal membership. A new Wilder Foundation Research study projects that unless there is a major change to the criteria, Red Lake, like many tribes across the nation, faces catastrophic population loss in coming years.
Wilder Research scientist Nicole MartinRogers is blunt about what's ahead for the Red Lake Nation.
"A tribal population that is right now about 16,000, is going to drop to 1,000 people potentially or under in the next 100 years, if they continue to maintain their current enrollment criteria of one-quarter blood quantum,” she said. “That's a pretty scary thing."

blood quantum was designed to eliminate native americans while the one drop rule was intended to keep african americans slaves in perpetuity

ehhh not quite.

doctor who was by nature conceived to be episodic, more akin to a soap opera than a show with a continuous overarching goal.

luffy's goal is to find the one piece

but the doctor's never really had a specific goal in mind? they just want to fuck around and find out.

that post calling gay women creepy for watching lesbian porn/hentai/porn in general is so crazy to me. like . did you know a trait of being a lesbian is wanting to fuck women and to see some titties sometimes
