Who do Europeans joke about most?

I love how Sweden is just like “haha Norway am I right?” and everyone else is just like “nope it’s you Sweden” And Italy jokes the most about itself I can’t

What about self-deprecating Italy, no-sense-of-humour Belorussia, and Hungary joking about Scotland for some reason?!

If you want to read some of these jokes, here is the article from which the map has probably been taken, and in turn, here is the book where the jokes came from.

I can’t say I understand some of them, but hey, that’s culture!

Average number of foreign languages studied per pupil in general upper secondary education in Europe.

@losthitsu how many language do you know by the way? I wager you’re way above the Slovak average, aren’t you? ;)

Besides those of us who with roots outside the UK who know another language to some degree, indeed…England is probably worse than Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland where a number of ppl there likely know some Welsh, Scottish and Irish RIP 

I’m surprised at Portugal tho why

Okay, I know I said I’ll do a song of the day but this is one of my favourite videos of Christoph Waltz explaining the world. He is very eloquent in his explanation (as always!), when he explains our terrifying Austrian tradition. It’s just for fun! ;-)
