not gonna lie i am so scared and sorry for the 13 and 14 year old girls today
this isn’t about anything specific other than the fact that men are getting increasingly more and more bold in being predatory and these little girls are impressionable and it’s scary as hell cause That was me and i can’t HELP any of them because none of them will listen. at that age you just wanna be seen as pretty and mature and older & will swoon over any guy who makes you feel like that even if they’re six years your senior. so i’m scared as shit but that’s just me
especially now, because girls are being pressured younger and younger to look mature and wear all this makeup and whatnot in the age of “IG baddies.” stuff like that (the beauty industry, run with men in mind) is being marketed towards them. it’s disheartening because these girls don’t get to be kids. there are so many horrible things that have been repackaged as the new #feminist empowerment thing (i.e. extremely high standards for makeup) and now you have literal fucking pedophiles, worse than before, openly claiming that identity and feeling shameless because these girls look “grown enough.”
“Ooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth? Ooh, heaven is a place on earth.”

Be sad but get up. You don’t have to shower. You can put on the same clothes you wore yesterday. Nobody will care. The sky is blue, wildflowers are blooming by the side of the road. Strangers have stories to tell. Go for a walk, go for a drive, go to a greenhouse, a bookstore, a movie theater. You can stay in bed but nothing is going to happen there. Sometimes you’ve really just got to get the fuck up.
