This comic rendition of the one of the RTDL cutscenes was a project for one of my college classes.

I showed it to my Professor today for critique and he said it is “one of the best and most lovingly crafted comics” he’s seen. So. I guess the work was worth it in the end (By the way don’t expect anything of this high quality again I am surprised my hands aren’t having seizures haha).

i haven’t seen the english dub of promare but my friend brought to my attention that deus prometh shares a VA with eggman and well. with the only sonic content ive ever consumed literally just being the realtime snapcube videogame dubs…

Sometimes I think about Light when he was a child, and how expressive or more open he might have been. How whenever Soichiro came home he might have ran down the stairs to greet him like a proud son. How eager he would have been to do well in school and bring home certificates that he knew made his mother smile so wide. How excited he would be to learn all about the world…before he became too intelligent. Before people started expecting too much of him and he became so disillusioned with life that he felt murdering thousands in the name of justice was the only way to fix humanity. Sometimes I think of how lonely little Light must have felt when he first realised there was nobody he could relate to anymore, and certainly nobody he could confide his fears in. So much so, that he created a mask to hide behind and distanced himself from the very same humanity he was supposedly saving.

There were a lot of old ladies watching the shape of water.

I just got out of the 4 dollar movie theater, after watching Guillermo Del Toro’s Shape Of Water, which I did love, but kinda had an awkward time in watching it.

The theater wasn’t really packed, I’d say there was like 40% of the seats filled. But, it was filled with a bunch of old ladies, I’m talking bitty nice grannies in their 70s and 80s.

I noticed this cus I was sitting right in front of them as we waited for the movie and just listened to them talking to each other about their day, how much they’ve been wanting to watch this movie for a while and about their pets and kids and grandkids.

I also noticed them cud during the movie, especially during the masturbation and sex scenes I just here some of them quietly whispering “oh my!” Or “ to be that young again” or “I wasn’t expecting them to show that! Thank goodness I’m watching it with you instead of [name I assume is her daughter] they would of asked if I wanted to leave the theater!”

They seemed to enjoy themselves though, because after the movie, as we left the theater, I heard them talk about how much they enjoyed it, and how disappointed one granny in particular was at “the amount of sex there was with just the people, and not much at all of the fish man”.

You and me both granny. You and me both.
