"Just...hang on," Syzoth hisses. He's anxious, you can hear it in his reptilian voice.
Most only knew him as Reptile, the ruthless Saurian warrior who killed without mercy.
But to you, he was Syzoth- at times, a little cold, a little crass, but you knew he cared about you very deeply.
"Syzoth," you pause to spit blood onto the sand as he helps you walk toward the transport, "Thank you."
The Saurian grunts and turns his face to yours, his mouth, filled with sharp teeth, is curled into what you can only assume is a smile.
"I love you."
You blink in surprise and your mouth twitches, corners turning up in a smirk despite the pain. This was certainly new- he had expressed fondness for you before, of course, even acted almost tender at times.
But this? It surprises even you.
"I love you, too."
Syzoth chuckles and adjusts his grip on you, careful not to touch your ribs, "Let's get you out of here."

- started out hating each other’s guts because johnny and well, the good old rivalry
- robby was reluctant to visit miguel at the hospital at first but was convinced by the larussos (they’re slowly forgiving him and trying to be supportive because this boy has been through a whole damn lot)
- miguel hasn’t fully healed yet. he’s already been discharged but does return from time to time to get his healing process checked out
- robby’s already out of juvie
- miguel is shook when he sees robby’s face like ‘wtf is this guy doing here’
- he’s snarky and refuses help even when he falls and struggles to get up
- as much as it pains robby to see miggy like that it’s also inspiring somehow? bc he never gives up

As if you didn’t have a hard time avoiding a certain someone, fate had decided to throw you in the arms of another crazy. Though sitting in a wedding dress and coming face to face with your other “admirer” coming in to the room, wasn’t a very preferable alternative. It was the ultimate embarrassment as the door opened and you were face to face with…them. The fleeting hope of someone sane saving you quickly vanished.
