Next up on the Johtodex, my absolute favorite Pokemon evolutionary line, the Togepi line!
I love how in Gold, Silver and Crystal, Togepi is entrusted to you as an egg to raise. Togepi is a precious child who evolves through the strong bonds of love and friendship you develop along your journey.
To me, Togetic is this perfect blend of elegant and adorable and is perfectly fitting for a grown-up Togepi (who can also fly you across the entire Johto region despite being only 2 ft. tall). I fell in love with her at first sight, which was when I saw an image of the first card she appeared on.
I also love that they have been retyped as Fairy and Fairy/Flying, which honestly would have been helpful to have when going up against Lance and Claire in Gen 2.
Also as of this update I’ve painted over 50 Pokemon already! Thus I’ve so far completed a whole fifth of the Johtodex. Still a ways to go but wow! Progress!
