This Bird-voiced Treefrog (Hyla avivoca) was chilling on our patio window sill.

Gorgeous black racer found out and soaking up the spring sun.
Found this Crowned Snake thanks to its bright orange belly. They are quite common in this area and love hanging out in the thick pine needle debris that blankets the forest floor.

This guy hangs around our back patio and side door, and is easily recognizable by his crooked tail. Here he’s warming himself on the side of the house, currently about 50F outside.
It is a fence lizard, but it’s a female! Females have a distinct chevron dorsal pattern. Makes have a less defined pattern and a blue venter!
