For those of you who do not know, this is my son, Dominick. He was born on 10/01/15 and has a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. HLHS is when the left side of the heart doesn’t develops properly and is essentially useless. He has to undergo 3 open heart surgeries and the first one is tomorrow morning. These past 4 days with him have been amazing and I couldn’t be happier. However my heart is heavy because I do know that there is a chance that he may not make it through his surgery tomorrow. I’m terrified of losing him. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I don’t know what I’d do without him. So, I’m asking that anyone who can, please pray for him. And if you don’t pray, send positive thoughts and good vibes. We’re gonna need as many people with him of their mind as possible. He’s so strong, I know he can do this. The first surgery is the most crucial and the one with the highest mortality rate, simply because they’re infants when it is performed. So, please keep him and us in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow as we wait and see how everything goes. Thanks everyone!!!
