Claude Grahame-White (1879-1959)
A English pioneer of aviation, Grahame-White was one of the first to qualify as a pilot in England. During his aviation career, he successfully flew the first night patrol mission in World War I. Grahame-White also founded a flight school at Hendon Aerodrome and his company Grahame-White Aviation Company, both in 1911.
