i literally LOVE explaining ace attorney lore to people who havent played the games. i was in class the other day talking w some friends abt it like yeah theres this character who manipulated a guy she was with to pretend to throw her off bridge into a freezing river full of sharp rocks 40 feet down in order to steal a diamond the size of a milk jug from her own family business at age 14 and then showed up under a fake name as a witness when he was on trial for murdering HER and convinced him to drink poison from a necklace on the stand and die. in the process of doing this she stabbed her half sister to death and hid her in a car trunk. then in order to hide the evidence from the poison thing she gave the necklace to this random other guy on the way out of the courthouse, starting a fake relationship with him (in which she actually made her identical twin sister pretend to be her and date the guy the entire time) until she eventually electrocuted one of her exes with a telephone wire and decided to kick out her twin sister (who had fallen for the guy for real) so that she could frame him for murder and get away. i forgot to mention in the process of all this she poisoned another guy just for asking her some questions about the case but i dont remember where that is along the timeline also the random guy she had her sister date and then tried to frame for murder is in fact phoenix wright the future protagonist. she got the death penalty after all this went down
