The ppl loved them but their bosses weren't too happy with the fact that the personification of their country's sex life was a hot topic in every tabloid magazine. also Romano hated the fact that he could not go down to the market without having to hear speculations about what his little brother n the potato bastard got up to after they left a discotheque in the same taxi. + this is a tribute to Germany's pornstache and chest hair that he sadly shaved off in 1991. I love how genuinely happy Feli and Ludwig are together and that they seem like the kind of couple who absolutely adore each other even though it looks like Ludwig is always getting annoyed with him in front of others. They don't actively go out and say they're in a relationship, but they don't try to hide it either, they're always wearing their wedding rings and Feli makes sure his ring finger is always on display if they take pictures together.
They have had very long talks about their histories with each other, good and bad, and even before this talk they had forgiven each other. It's a lot to work through, but they trust and love each other and that's enough.
Their love language is definitely touch-based, especially with Ludwig being the touch starved person he is. Interlocking fingers when they hold hands, brushing their bodies against each other when they walk, forehand kisses, and Ludwig likes it when Feli soaps his hair for him when they take a bath. Cuddling in general is just something they like too.
And though it's not even remotely important to their their relationship, they do admire each others bodies. Feli likes to brag about his big, muscular husband, and well, let's just say Ludwig doesn't mind his chubby little partner to lay his head on at night.
