Hey guys, I normally don't do this but my dad is unemployed atm and there are things I need that I can't afford due to this. I'm disabled and can't work, and I'm fighting for disability. Fortunately we have enough to pay the bills and food, but there are certain things I really need and I'm asking for your help.

I struggle with awful TMJ migraines and need certain items that'll help alleviate the pain because I can't take pain killers.

There are also other things on here that aren't tmj related, for my autism and for the condition of my home.

The BIGGEST thing I need right now is the pot at the top of the wishlist. I don't have a stove and all I want to do is be able to cook my favorite meal so I can enjoy it on my birthday.

UPDATE! I was so lucky today to receive some money thru paypal by a discord server friend and was able to buy the lamp and THE POT! I'm so grateful. I do need some other things on the list though so please keep sharing!!!

hey everyone im genuinely so sorry to do this but to get top surgery i need about 5,000 dollars. i just got out of my appointment with my doctor, im kind of devastated rn. all ive wanted for the last 7 years is to actually get top surgery and ive been denied over and over again because of my blood disorder, so like to get this close and not be able to afford it is really fucking awful. please if you can consider sending me some money, every single dollar will go to getting top surgery and i will delete and stop circulating this post as soon as i have enough to afford it.

Everyone else talked about outdoor cats, it's time for me to talk about offleash dogs

Reasons not to have your dog offleash at a public park:

1) roads (this one is self-explanatory)

2) it makes the park inaccessible to like, entire swathes of the population. If you have experience with police dogs or guard dogs in your neighborhood, or you're a new immigrant from somewhere with a large population of feral dogs, it sucks ass going to the park and having someone's massive lab bound up to you!

3) If, for example, you are in a protected wetland area plastered with friendly signs asking you to please leash your dog to avoid causing an ecological impact, having your dog offleash might cause an ecological impact! "Oh no, my dog is well-behaved, they would never bother the wildlife" wrong! your dog is in the pond trying to eat the endangered Blandings' turtles!

4) Non-zero chance of a jokerified park guide (me) just clipping your dog to a leash and stealing them

5) “Oh but my dog is friendly!” If your unleashed “friendly” dog runs up to my leashed UNFRIENDLY dog, and my dog bites yours, guess who’s getting the blame despite doing everything right?

6) Allergies. “Oh but my dog is friendly!” oh well that’s great I guess I can just put the epipen away because, yknow, he didn’t mean to induce anaphylactic shock, it was all in good fun, nothing to worry about!

7) Small children, the elderly and disabled people. “Oh but my dog is so friendly!” When your friendly dog slams into me/jumps on me/knocks me over I am just as injured.

8) Many of the places where it seems attractive to let a dog off the leash are home to wildlife! My local swamp park has a whole-ass coyote pack living in it. That is their house, and they will view your precious little sausage roll as a delivery dinner. I have legit seen a coyote come out of the bushes and take a small, off-leash dog. Leash your dogs.

A couple people reblogging with my addition have gone on to say that a well-trained dog can be off-leash and all these things only apply to badly-trained dogs (who presumably deserve to suffer? and who apparently also deserve the opportunity to harm and distress people who didn't sign up for Bad Dog Encounters?). Leaving aside the fact that dogs are animals, will always be animals, and will thus always have the potential to act unpredictably, just like every other animal, including humans, who do you think is training the wildlife?

I have seen the incident I referenced above play out three times. All three times, the dog lost. In one of the instances, the dog was two feet from its owner. In one instance, the owner followed the coyote into the bushes, still lost the dog, and got bitten badly. The parks service killed half the swamp coyotes after that, which isn't fair. Again, the swamp is their home. They live there. If you bring them DoorDash, they shouldn't be punished for eating it.

Coyotes. Bears. Venomous snakes. Squirrels, either rabid or leading your dog into traffic. And feral cats who also shouldn't be outside and uncontained, but don't deserve to be ripped apart by dogs because people failed them. Your dog is not the only animal in the world.

Someone tell me if I’m being to sensitive but I keep seeing ppl on tiktok making edits of Barbie and posting slideshows with Barbie saying that she’s a lesbian and it lowkey makes me really sad and frustrated and want to cry bc isn’t Barbie aroace? She never shows any romantic attraction to anyone the entire film and says outright that she doesn’t have reproductive organs. Like we get so little rep and then just bc a character doesn’t show attraction to the male lead they’re automatically labeled lesbian by the fandom and idk that just annoys me a bit but idk if I’m being to sensitive about it.

by the way. telling people to not use ableist language isn't silencing abuse victims or taking away their language.

narcissist abuse is just emotional abuse but with an ableist coat on it. i don't care if people don't think emotional abuse counts as real abuse, why not advocate for seeing emotional abuse as valid abuse instead? you are just playing into the "emotional abuse isn't real" crowd by saying narcissistic abuse instead.

and if you are advocating for narcissistic abuse to mean abuse at the hands of a narcissist and/or someone with npd(instead of it being a synonym for emotional abuse), then my question is why do we need a word for this? and there is no unique or special way for people with narcissists or pwnpd to abuse someone. because woah! would you look at that? it is just emotional abuse.

we live in a shitty ableist world which will use any excuse to harm those with mental disorders. i don't care if someone has the best intentions, i don't care if someone genuinely doesn't mean to implicate pwnpd when they talk about narcissistic abuse, it will still hurt us, so get over yourself and fucking stop.

and before the "narcissist doesn't equal npd!!" crowd comes in, i don't care about your language games, fuck off. but even if we accept that statement as true, people with npd will still get harmed by such language. npd and narcissism are and will always be linked to eachother. if you talk about the evils of narcissism, people will connect it with npd.

even if we change the name of npd it won't help. dissociative identity disorder is still widely known as multiple personality disorder. antisocial personality disorder is still widely known as socio/psychopathy. why would npd be any different?

(and idk. i think it is kinda shitty to be like "hey let's change the name of a disorder because i am too stubborn to say selfish instead of narcissist!!")
