I have strongly positive visceral reactions to plague doc (obvs), deep sea diver, and medieval beekeeper. I have strong but ambivalent reactions to the other three. Half fascination, half fear, with a dash of revulsion. I gather most people feel the fear and revulsion about all six, though I'd guess they find the gas mask scariest and the armor least scary. Is that true? I want to read a study about this.
