(okay, so been practicing dutch and french braids these last couple of days bc I just realized that my hair is finally long enough to do those again so I decided to add braids here even tho there were so many pretty hairstyles and omg, all the outfits were so cool, had a hard time deciding but I liked that blouse—wish I had one like that—and the vest—wish I had more of those—and the coat—so pretty—matched it so well—had a really hard time deciding between black or purple coat but purple coat went better with the rest and I usually do my picrews with a lot of black so it was time to change it up a bit—and I almost went with a small white bow but I saw the hat and I don't really have hats, my sister's got the monopoly on that plus I was more preoccupied with shoes at the time to care much about it and i have always liked elaborate hairstyles anyways—and it's a bit too much, especially for what I would usually wear, but it was so cute and went so well with the other clothes that I couldn't not pick it)

Fact about myself that has been relevant this last week....I always have a million things to do (most of them self-imposed to be fair but still) and I'm so bad at regularly keeping in touch with people, even with my own siblings who I live with, so trying to take advantage that I'm on school break this week to actually get to do all those. As soon as I finish the homework questions I have left of forensic science class that I've been procrastinating since early last week, priority is to answer at least most of my whatsapp/discord messages+tumblr asks/messages/ask games+letters (maybe help my younger siblings with their homeschooling too like I did today, plus playing card games) (could actually dedicate some time to my hobbies while watching my siblings since they, for some reason, prefer to study in my room's floor—like, it's carpeted but still—instead of at the dining table)

I'm playing at a concert next week, and I have 12 hours of rehearsals in the next four days... I still have a regular high school to study for, and I've just came back home from another rehearsal this week. It's just a school orchestra, it's not even that big. If I still have any will to play clarinet next week, it'll be a miracle (I love clarinet anyways). (And a guy from the said orchestra asked me on a date). (It's the second guy from this said orchestra that I'm going on a date with loooooool)

A relevant thing/fun fact about me:

I am a nerd in almost every sense of the word. I may not look like one or watch Star Wars or other stereotypical nerd cultural things that people connect to nerd things. I embrace it. I have been in fandoms for most of my life and wore many hats from creating art, passion projects, writing prose, speculation, and, of course, creative writing such as multichapter multicharacter stories and fanfiction. Albeit one fandom stands out but I dabble all around.

That all being said, being in this kind of thing I basically got my start in the mid-2000s being a part of a message board for Degrassi. I believe it existed for a long time at least four or five years. It was a cool experience and I still keep in touch and have been close with life long or decades old friendships through that. I joined other boards and fandoms. It is where I got into the pursuit of a degree in graphic art and designing realms. I was a self taught by way of tutorials and such.

I wouldn't be who I am without this sort of thing. So, thanks in the least cheesy way for everyone here. we are pretty much united with different opinions and lives and passions. I'm sure there are people just like me, and it's nice to feel not alone.

I am forever grateful and happy for the things over the years positively impacted by tumblr and similar places i have learned, the creative outlet, the friends and mutuals near and far, the overall fandom experience and memories, unforgettable and plenty, and other things that unlock even more inspiring, potentially great things to come in the future! 😊 longwinded gratitude. I owe it all to fandom. 💖💞
