Some people really need to get it through their dumb thick skulls that racial minorities who immigrated to mostly white countries are going to have perspectives and opinions on things that the folks in their countries of origin might not. Like the morons on my yellowface post who were like "um well Japanese people in Japan don't care, it's always the Japanese americans who say shit about it" like yeah? Obviously? Asian folks living in a country where they're the racial majority are far less likely to be subjected to the same kind of racism/propaganda/caricatures etc. that Asian people in mostly white countries are. Like I cannot for the life of me think of any valid justification for thinking "well it's the IMMIGRANTS who have a problem with it so clearly it isn't an actual issue" how about you shut up
