You do realise that (if I understand it correctly) most transitioning in childhood is 100% reversible? Puberty blockers just delay stuff and (if I understand it correctly) the rest can only be a social transition.

Delaying essential teenage development causes a lot of other knock-on effects. Secondary sex characteristics aren’t the only things that develop during puberty, which get blocked by puberty blockers. There’s a chance of recovery, I guess, long-term, but going through puberty at 21 instead of at 10 means developmental stunting is inevitable.

yeah but letting your kid go on hormone blockers lessens their dysphoria and keeps them from killing themselves. which is far more important. in my opinion.

Ruby Bridges is 68. This is not ancient history. Not even close.

I know Ruby. She's a really nice person. The idea that they would try and write what she did as a girl out of history is shocking to me on so many levels, the simplest of which is just, but don't they know how lovely she is?
