I always feel bad for my bb

What makes you say Kelley will be a good captain/coach?

So many reasons!

I mean first off she is an amazing and talented soccer player. That’s without question. She consistently makes good plays and decisions. She can play almost every position well. She’s also a very unselfish player, always serving it for others to make great plays as well.

But the main reason I say she’d be a wonderful captain/coach is her interactions with the other players. Just watch her play - she is always directing the play of the ball, making calls, encouraging teammates, etc. She’s a strong, positive presence and influence among the team. The others like and respect her, and she was also chosen as one of the players to help with USSF negotiations. She loves the game and her teammates so much, and I’m confident she would put so much heart into being the captain/coach.

Kelley spent a good portion of the NWSL season as the SBFC captain/coach, and was a leader long before that. She did an amazing job and I believe that with more time, she could carry that leadership over to the USWNT with great success.
