A bunch of coffee shop drawings from my travels around Japan. All really incredible cafes, with great coffee!! The last was a sketch of Brioche I made for Reissue cafe that a super talented barista recreated. 

Before the original 1967 Planet of the Apes went into production, a test reel was made to prove to the studio the makeup intensive story could be told in a visually believable way. The original makeup test reel featured the original actor cast to be Dr. Zaius: Hollywood legend Edward G. Robinson, who ended up not appearing in the finished film.

The chimpanzee makeup was tested by James Brolin (who's son with Barbara Streisand, Josh, is best known for his role in the Goonies) with Zira, Linda Harrison. Brolin, already an up and coming star, did not appear in the film, and Linda Harrison did not play Zira, but instead received the non-speaking role of the cave girl Nova. Angelique Pettyjohn, the green-haired warrior woman from the Star Trek episode, the "Gamesters of Triskelion," was runner up for the non-speaking role of Nova, as Linda Harrison was originally slated to play Zira.

Fun fact: Linda Harrison is the first ever actress to ever play Wonder Woman in live action, as she appeared in the 1960s "Who's Afraid of Diana Prince" proof of concept short by producer WIlliam Dozier (creator of the original Batman series). Harrison was well known to Dozier as she appeared in a couple episodes of the 60s Batman series. The short did not end up going to series.

hi! sorry for the radio silence recently. i lost my job, which was devastating, and i have been trying desperately to figure out what i want to do next.

i'm going to dip my toes back into going freelance, which means a new commission pricing sheet will be up soon :^) i have missed doing commissions for all of you!! hoping to have it prepped by next week.

in the mean time, i'm going to start doing weekly pay-what-you-want sketch streams on thursday evenings (starting this thursday 8/17) starting at 2pm pacific time and running until i run out of steam! some examples of what you can expect are at the top of this post. i will draw (mostly) whatever you like:

fanart, ocs, furries, lgbt content, smut (on the appropriate nights ofc), and anything else you can think of. i am going to alternate between doing sfw and nsfw streams every other week, starting with sfw this week. all you have to do is kick a donation to my kofi while i'm streaming, and i will draw for you! these will mainly be sketches, but higher donations will mean more detail. i reserve the right to refuse a drawing if it makes me uncomfortable, but will happily refund you.

Scenario, where after TNG Q continued to come by every now and again and eventually even came as a (uninvited although how do you even send Q an invitation) guest to Picards retirment party. Well, considering it's about Picards retirement it's not really a 'party' per se but Q decides to treat it and make it like one. Some, who are not all that aware about the improvement and exact nature of Picards and Qs relationship or friendship don't really understand why Q is celebrating this considering they don't think that Q will bother to 'play' with Picard now that he is no longer either a captain or an admiral but rather an old man on a vineyard.

But Q is actually happy because now Picard no longer has the excuses of 'his ship', 'his duties' or 'his responsibilites' and is therefore a free man and has more time for Q now.
