i cannot reiterate enough how cool the qsmp is the appreciation for the community is next level the admins have dedicated an entire museum where they frequently rotate and showcase new pieces of fanart including credit completely unprompted from the community itself and it’s phenomenal all the players visit it each time and get to applaud and see all the art and now doing a whole movie night event to present fan animations and clips is so heartwarming its such a unique form of saying thank you to the community like how can there be so much love and care in a single minecraft server

Let me be completely clear - I’m not being a sarcastic ass. I’m just realizing all over again, in real time, for myself, that reading a real life published book makes your neurons feel like they’re getting a spa day. if you have a custom domain set, DO NOT UNTICK THE BUTTON on blog settings. you’re not allowed to add it back. (nope, that’s not mentioned anywhere on blog settings itself.) if you switch hosts and need to update nameservers, congrats! you’re fucked

custom domains were a feature that’s been available over a decade, but they’ve been unceremoniously removed. the idea of “legacy” domains is a joke

this is doubly egregious because they absolutely could be selling domains for people that don’t have one, while still allowing those of us that already had a domain to keep using ours. they also don’t even allow you to pay to use your own. so if someone bought a domain specifically to use on tumblr, if they accidentally untick the button then poof! they’re fucked because they can’t re-buy their own domain from tumblr 

it’s honestly pathetic how much of a transparent cash grab this is at worst, and how badly implemented this was at best. this is what happens when you accept incompetency as a modus operandi bc “lol quirky hellsite”

i highly, HIGHLY recommend not investing in this feature due to that incompetency and lack of transparency

i actually think many chihuahuas are fantastic little dogs. they suffer primarily from 1) being bred more for size and appearance than for confidence and emotional resilience, and moreover 2) being treated as little stuffed toys or accessories rather than real dogs, and then eventually learning to engage in undesirable behaviors to protect themselves in those situations

i know it's trendy to dunk on them, i think there are a lot more homes today that are appropriate fit for a chihuahua than for popular dog breeds no one bats an eye at (german shepherds, huskies, etc...)

and i think a lot of the common chihuahua behaviors that people have deemed to be the result of some kind of hilarious ontological evil are really just the manifestations of tiny dogs being pervasively mistreated by human beings. which is, you know. deeply unfunny actually
