concept: im wearing your college sweatshirt that’s a little oversized on me, but it’s cold outside and it’s warm and smells of you. im beside you, my head laying on your shoulder as you doze off, the room dark except twinkling fairy lights. snow falls outside, but we’re safe and warm together as we fall asleep
i want to be a women who is educated, doesn‘t fit in typical beauty standards; but the combination of her eyes & eyebrows will feel like water. kind. someone who is so soft yet so stable and sure. her glance flows something in you. like love in a vein. and may her unknown moments feel like a quiet pause, an isolation. someone who‘s eyes glow navy.

“She was beautiful. There was no denying it. But she wasn’t that kind of beautiful that made everyone turn, Or took everyones breath away when she entered the room. Her beauty was hidden, But once you’ve seen it she becomes nothing but beautiful. Shes the kind of beautiful that keeps you up at night, The kind that makes you love every part of her. Some people may not see it, And you know she can’t, But she’s beautiful. Theres no denying it.”

Abu Huraira reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying:
“Hasten in performing good deeds (before these) six things (happen):
- (the appearance) of the Dajjal,
- the smoke,
- the beast of the earth,
- the rising of the sun from the west,
- the general turmoil (leading to large-scale massacre)
- death of masses and individuals.”
Sahih Muslim 2947

Inna lillahi wa inna illahy raciun.
My cousin died a few hours ago, please keep him and his family in your duas.
May Allah allow him to enter Jannah.
URGENT! I need your help
Hello, everyone.
My name is Efrat, I live in Russia, I’m 23 and I have been suffering from multiple sclerosis for several years now and was diagnosed this year with Hashimoto’s.
And currently I’m ~2500 $ (or roughly 160 000 rubles) in debt and was fired today without warning. This July I need to pay out at least 1 000$, either way I’ll be fined and interest will increase my debt by several times.
I’m so lost and don’t know what to do anymore, I have been just crying for the past few hours.
I’m begging to send anything you can be it even 1$. And please reblog this as much as you can.
No, darling, people are not staring at you or talking about how you look. They are not judging you or making jokes about the way you walk. They do no think you are weird or that you look stupid. All of this is in your head. When people look at you, they just look. Maybe they admire you for your beautiful smile, your shiny hair or your clothing style. But all those things that you feel, those things that make you feel unbelievably anxious and uncomfortable, are not true. I know how hard it is to walk around public places and feel everyone’s eyes on you but 99% of the time, it is just your mind playing tricks on you. You are good enough the way you are, my love. And you will soon get to the point where you can be free - free of the fear what others may think. One day you will love the person you are, you will shine in all those different colours and you will finally be your true self. Trust me, you are going to find freedom. I am rooting for you.
just because you don’t look like somebody who you think is attractive doesn’t mean you aren’t attractive. flowers are pretty but so are christmas lights and they look nothing alike
I don’t think anyone could’ve said it in a better way
I reblog these things in the hope that someday I will grow to believe them.
I know so many people that beat themselves up and wish they could memorise more, recite more, pray more, sit in the mosque more, and do more to attain Allah’s forgiveness - but we are stuck in the grind and working every single day just to make ends meet
Rasūlullāh ﷺ said, ‘The one who sleeps after a hard day’s work (earning halal) sleeps forgiven.“ (Tabarani) How beautiful is our religion! It isn’t just about tasbihs, 24/7 ‘itikafs, and 1000s of rak'ats. The nurse, the primary school teacher, the shop assistant, the guy driving buses, those fixing shelves in Next and H&M, the factory worker, the doctor, the journalist, the pharmacist, and every person seeking halal and Allāh’s pleasure at work - return home with Allah’s forgiveness.

Anxiety tip (that works for me but please only do what works for you) is exhaling لا حولا ولا قوة إلا بالله. Instead of thinking about darkness and feeling a void, replacing that with hope and remembrance of الله.
We say we are Muslims but do we really believe if we cannot give for the sake of Allah to help the Ummah of Muhammad saws?
Please Donate generously to this worthy cause and help your brothers and sisters in Islam in securing a place of worship.
O you who believe! If you help [in the cause of] Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm. [Qur'an, surah Muhammad 47:7]

Donating to a Masjid, is an ongoing charity which continues even after a person dies and his/her book of deeds are closed. Even if you spend one Dollar towards a Masjid, InshaAllah that will count as an ongoing charity.
Years ago, I prayed for something over and over, that I desperately wanted answered. But as time went on, I realized that not only was my request not coming true the way I asked- the exact opposite was happening.
I struggled with watching what I saw was the opposite of my duaa take place but I reminded myself that God’s decree is with wisdom and that His plan is the best. But it was hard. Really, really hard.
Eight years and many life events later, He answered my duaa.
And I realized that in order for my duaa to be answered in the best way for my life, I needed door after door to be closed for me so that my duaa could be answered in a specific time of my life- the best time, in the best way.
If I could speak to my younger self I would tell me, “Allah is AlHakim- the All Wise. Trust in His plan. Know it’s better than anything you could even dream of asking for and that every single obstacle on your path is actually another door opening to an even better outcome than you’re asking.”
But since I can’t speak to my old self, I’ll just remind myself- and if it’s helpful to you, then you as well, now:
He answers, in the best way, at the best time. Don’t give up. Keep begging. Keep doing the right thing. Keep having hope. He will never fail you. Even if it takes 8 years. Even if it’s different from what you ask.
He will always respond with what is best for you.

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters… S.T..R … My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word. I agree. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks. STROKE IDENTIFICATION: During a party, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. (they offered to call ambulance) They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the evening. Ingrid’s husband called later telling everyone that his wife had been taken to the hospital - (at 6:00pm , Ingrid passed away.) She had suffered a stroke at the party . Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some don’t die. They end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead. It only takes a minute to read this… STROKE IDENTIFICATION: A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within 3 hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke…totally. He said the trick was getting a stroke recognized, diagnosed, and then getting the patient medically cared for within 3 hours, which is tough. RECOGNIZING A STROKE Remember the ‘3’ steps, STR . Read and Learn! Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke. Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions : S * Ask the individual to SMILE .. T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg ‘It is sunny out today’). R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS . If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. NOTE : Another ‘sign’ of a stroke is 1. Ask the person to ‘stick’ out their tongue. 2. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke. A prominent cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to 10 people; you can bet that at least one life will be saved. And it could be your own.
First reblog post that actually saves a life.
This is a life-saving post.

My mother died after being paralyzed by a stroke. Please read this^
I remember a while ago here in UK there were stroke-identifying adverts. Their catchphrase was FAST:
- F- Face: is their face fallen on one side?
- A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?
- S- Speech: is their speech slurred? Can they speak a full sentence?
- T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.
We managed to save my nana with this information when she had her first stroke.
SAVE A LIFE.
Something that my teacher mentioned a few days ago that really made me think. She said that you know how the Prophet ﷺ is a mercy to all of mankind and that he is the one who will intercede for all of us? And there’s a hadith that states he will keep prostrating to Allah, and Allah will keep granting him permission to take out x number of people from the Fire and let them enter Paradise. And he will keep doing this until no one is left in the Fire except those who are destined for eternity in it.
.
[Bukhari]
.
She said that the Prophet ﷺ will ONLY enter Paradise after he’s taken EVERYONE out of the Fire. Subhanallah, and in Islam we have something called huqooqul ‘ibaad (Rights of the creation). Meaning that if there’s someone you’ve hurt and they’ve not forgiven you, you can’t enter paradise until they forgive you.
.
So imagine that by you not forgiving someone in this world and you delaying that person’s entry into Paradise, you’re delaying the Prophet ﷺ from entering Paradise too. Because he won’t enter Paradise until he’s interceded for all of us. And that really hit me.
Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyya رحمه الله said:
“Whoever mocks his brother for a sin they repented from will not die till he himself falls into the same sin.”

Ibn Rajab
The sign of a good deed being accepted lies in your ability to follow it up with another good deed.
