Short answer, my puppy died. Been a complete mess, just getting back on my feet

I named her Samantha, after my best friend Sam who killed himself January this year. He had been my soul mate, we had walked every inch of this town & every park & footpath over and over in effort to beat the covid lockdown depression. The grief swallowed me for months. I couldn’t step outside without seeing his face.

In the summer I got Samantha and she changed my life, she saved me.

She was wild, bitey, frantic, adorable, intelligent, cheeky

And loved camping & beaches & forests

And then in 24 hours she deteriorated from her normal self to completely lifeless, and we had to put her to sleep. She was too young. I spent £2000 in one day on her medicines, scans, and her cremation. She had parvovirus. She was fully vaccinated.

The worst part is I saw my boyfriend go through the same loss and grief. We thought about onlyfans to try pay off vet bills & generally support ourselves a bit. But it’s hard man, life hasn’t been the same since.
