I can’t be a wizard. I mean, I’m just Harry. Just Harry. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001) Dir. Chris Columbus
That’s why you’re famous, Harry, that’s why everybody knows your name. You’re the boy who lived. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), dir. Chris Columbus
The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It’s not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you.

What happened to…to You-Know-Who? — Well, some say he died. Codswallop, in my opinion. Nope, I reckon he’s out there, still, too tired to go on. HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE (2001) dir. Chris Columbus

TWENTY YEARS OF HARRY POTTER FILMS - 11.16.2001
Help will always be given at Hogwarts, Harry, to those who ask for it. I’ve always prized myself on my ability to turn a phrase. Words are, in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it. But I would, in this case, amend my original statement to this: “Help would always be given at Hogwarts, to those who deserve it.” Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living. And above all, those who live without love.
It’s true then, what they’re saying on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001) dir. Chris Columbus.

A moment later they had entered the Great Hall, where the Hallowe’en decorations put Hermione out of their minds. A thousand live bats fluttered from the walls and ceiling while a thousand more swooped over the tables in low black clouds, making the in the pumpkins stutter. The feast appeared suddenly on the golden plates, as it had at the start of term banquet.
