Tips for Your Pokémon Journey!

@poketipsjournal / poketipsjournal.tumblr.com

Remember to be alert at all times! Stay aware of your surroundings! Please don't look at your phone while crossing the street!
DO NOT send in anything regarding how to control Eeveelutions based on which move the Eevee starts out with. We are well aware that it doesn't work. Any asks or submissions about this will be deleted and the user will be BLOCKED. See here for a method that DOES work.

I’m not sure how many people follow my blog anymore but I’ve gotten this in my mail here and on my personal from two different email addresses. I suspect that it transmits a virus of some kind. Don’t press play, just report it to Tumblr and block the weirdo.

I have received this on two separate blogs. I watched a little bit of it and it seems to be a legit YouTube video but be careful just in case

Thanks! I just wanted to get the word out just I'm case.

Hiya! I'm an Ingress player figured I've give some tips to finding Pokestops. Pokestops are almost always in the same spot as their Ingress counter parts so if you really can't find anything the Ingress map while slow is really helpful. You do need an Ingress account though. If you're sensitive do not look at the COMM it is not moderated in anyway. Pokestops are most likely churches or murals. If you live in a place without murals you're more likely to not have a pokestop near you.

If anyone decides to do something like this, please remember to be careful! It's easy to get knocked off of your feet even when paying attention! Take care of your phones (Honestly, most touch screens work through ziplock bags, so I'd throw your phone in one of those if you don't have a proven waterproof phone case)

Be safe everyone, and stay in groups! Especially at night!

I'm having trouble with pokestops; whenever I try to collect items, the message "your bag is full" flashes even though I only have 25 pokeballs and 7/9 eggs and am on level 13. i have had 80+ pokeballs before... any advice?

additional note for my previous ask: i am only able to have a maximum of 25 pokeballs; if i get lower, i can collect them, but only up to 25 balls. I have 28 great balls and enough of all other items. thank you for your time!

I would suggest contacting Niantic about this matter as this seems like an issue that we can’t really help with. It may be a problem with the game’s code and we unfortunately can’t do anything about that. I hope it gets fixed soon!

Hi there!  This is the L/A(Maine) poketrainer again.  I’ve been training in the area and I have some more comprehensive knowledge about where to find gyms and pokemon.  While I still assert that Bates College has the highest concentration I’ve seen, the pokemon in this area aren’t very rare.  But still a great place to stock up on pokeballs.  Let’s have a screenshot of Bates College on the map to give some idea what I’m talking about.

Pokehunting places:

1. Auburn, by Court, Minot, and Union Streets.  I am constantly spotting jynx here, but I’ve also seen growlithe, slowbro, and caught rhydon and goldeen, and also a ton of clefairy.

2. Lewiston, by Canal and Main Street.  I’m always a seeing lot of water types here, and a few rare ones.  I was passing though as a passenger one day and saw a vaporeon, and the next day there was a dratini.  Also there are three pokestops in heritage park, and it seems like at least one of them has a lure going all the time.

3. As far as pure concentration of Pokemon, the Auburn Walmart has the best.  I turned my game on because I was getting read to walk to the other side of the store and got mobbed by this:

Not pictured: a gastly I caught before I decided to snap this picture.  They never had rare ones but they did have a lot fairly weighty eevees…until today.  I caught a squirtle, and abra, and after I left this mob, a flipping dragonite spawned on top of me!

So yeah- I haven’t explored every corner of L/A, but here are some places you can go if you’re hunting in the area.  If I find some more good pokemon hunting places, I’ll submit again!  Also I’d love to have people put in input about places I might have glossed over.
