i love defunctland because youll be watching a completely ordinary and straightforward video about theme park history until kevin says some shit like "nothing makes one face their own mortality more than being a wiggle" and then continues on like nothing ever happened
looks like battemonda has read the smile precure joker book on how to fuck up preteen magical girls because what the fuck was that
Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure episode 22……..
Gabriel Agreste died doing what he loved the most: manipulating a child 😍
"take a scene from miraculous ladybug but switch the costumes to emphasize the irony" except the most cursed version possible
Ouja probably holds the record for most extended media appearances of a rider by this point lol
Even Den-O probably can’t hold a candle to him and Den-O was Toei’s Wolverine/Deadpool for a while.
Look, I loved the episode, but I have a question:
Where was Chat Noir while Ladybug was fighting the Monarch literally all alone?
Yes yes, in a cell in London, but like, why make this narrative choice?
Weren't Ladybug and Chat Noir partners? Wasn't the entire season 4 about Ladybug trying to act as the only one responsible of everything and failing? Didn't they establish in Strike Back that Ladybug needed Chat Noir's support?
Why omit all that now?
I love to see a gender roles reversal in the damsel in distress trope, but I'd love more to see Chat Noir actually somewhere in the finale too.
Monarch: How did you know I’m Gabriel Agreste?
Bugnoire: Because this is literally your fucking house.
Todays topic is: shows/seasons that were amazing yet my opinion of them were soured by their conclusion
I just think Chris deserves to be sandwiched between Hibiki and Miku
That’s it that’s the post.
My pitch to Toei for a new Precure series is just making Tropical Rouge again where everything’s the same except that Laura never gets legs and has to be in a wheelchair the entire time and convince everyone that she isn’t a mermaid.
