i dont know exactly how to articulate this in a way other people havent but everything is too fast now. 24/7 news cycle, online focuses that last for hours instead of months or years, songs written just so ten seconds can go viral. movies and books churned out to meet some nebulous income quota. idk. im motion sick

It's so funny that Aileen Wuornos is even a famous serial killer. She shot and robbed 7 men. She didn't rape them, torture them, dismember the bodies, do anything weird or fucked up or perverted. You probably can't name a male serial killer off the top of your head that shot and robbed less than 10 people because that's a blip on the radar for men. For males to be famous murderers they have to have massive body counts or do some weird depraved shit.

She's somehow considered among the ranks of male killers like Dahmer, Gacey, and Ridgway. Rapists, cannibals, torturers, and men with high double digit victim counts. It's just that shocking that a woman turned the tables on a few punters.
