The Charleston Church killing speech by President Obama, captured the pain of his family and the whole nation. The speech encapsulate the agony of his bid to take guns away from the streets to avoid continuous mass killings of this sort to ever happen again. First describing the importance of Charleston and its past, the president emphasize the doggedness of the Church at the face of terrible past, emancipation of lost soul seeking for freedom and the warmth offered even to the killer. His narration of the great works of that church and how it had survived many tragedies, je reassured the nation that the people will resurface from this dark cloud. He eulogise the dead, spoke of personal relationships with some of them and how great they were, this is important in presidential rhetoric so as to put the personal pains out in to the public. He however spoke of the need for continuous prayer for Charleston and all how the people should continue to condemn hate crimes and advocate for gun control. #ccprezrhet

The book presidents creating the presidency by karlyn Kohrs and Kathleen Hall Jamieson gave another perspective to understanding the need for rhetoric. Beneath the title it stated " Deeds done by words" These words make concrete that the Ideas infused into perfecting speeches were designed to move us to respond to the president's ideas to instill patriotism, to respect the constitution and to serve with all your hearts. It is made known that rhetoric speech is not a requirement to being the president of a nation but if the president wants the citizens to see as he sees, and to go all the way with him he'd better learn how to speak in to their hearts to stir out patriotism. "Deeds done by words" very powerful, shows that mere words can lead to doing great deeds, learn to say the right things that sooth the ears and stir the the soul, then you will move mountains of deeds. I assume so countries today have gotten the idea of rhetorical speeches while I know for sure that some don't, they still rely on brute force damming all consequence. Its about time we echo these power idea of rhetoric, if you can spill it you can always grill it, find ghostwriters proficient in writing power words...you are the president godamit! #ccprezrhet
Still on the dark side, cyber dating, cyber sex, cyber infidelity, cyber pornography, gender bending are all on the dark side but truly needed by some as way of not getting F2F rejection, bullying or scrutiny. In their perfect little world they slip gently in and out of the dark side not brave enough like those with the giant ego. This is the price of freedom offered by cyberspace. It is interesting that studying CMC has exposed me to the merits and demerits of cyber so sweet yet bitter, we awake to the dawn of global socializing in confidence in the corner of our little room enjoying the freedom of space. #cmckoala
Would I consider my 2years old son craving for my phone part of the dark side to technology? Family imbalance and adjustment to technolgy is considered parts of ways technology affects us. At his age my son could take pictures and selfies on my smartphone, he will assign ring tones and navigate through the apps to play games and listen to music. It bounds us, because as i get into the house, he is all over me just to drop my phone. I understand that when he grows up still craving for technology it can cause imbalance because he would rather be left alone in his own world seeking information or move up in knowledge. May the force be him as time progresses. #cmckoala
The advent of computer communications brought along with it a lot of advantages examples bridging the gap of long distance relationship, covered international business links and foreign education right in your living room but my fear is the need for personal information to be in the interface thereby giving room to information theft. ….that scares me but CMC is like women that you can exist without good or bad.#cmckoala
I will admit that we are in an era of computer aided communications, social media as helped voiced out for the voiceless and this trend will get more complex as time goes. Recently in my country Nigeria, newspapers were burnt and stopped from being sold, the reason why we don't know. The military were been used to aid this terrible action, I was so sure that even if the can stop the hard copies of the news what about the freedom of cyberspace. The importance of computer mediated communications began to reveal itself to the people as they took to Facebook and Twitter to scream the injustice, I for one likes how the faceless took on this avenue to control electoral mismanagement and social injustice melted on them.
