there’s no “marriage equality” until disabled people can get married. congratulations on the legislation protecting interracial & gay marriage. don’t forget that people on SSDI still can’t get married. marriage equality would imply this legislation included us but it doesn’t. we still can’t get married

Shoutout to people who speak "overly formally." You deserve to express yourself in whatever way feels most natural and fulfilling for you. The way you speak isn't pompous, annoying, or mockable; it's just how you communicate, and there's nothing wrong with that. Your voice adds creativity and diversity to this world, and I think that's amazing.
In 7th grade I used to get told I was "a grandma" and I was constantly asked "why do you use big words?" by the other kids in school. My former boss told me to "save it, because what you could say using 5 words, you use 10". I was 19 then, and I didn't know I was autistic until I was 27.
