INTRODUCING...
A complete adaptation of my Homestuck post-canon fanfiction series Omelette Route (and its sequels) put onto MSPFA, complete with more accessibly-chunked pages, fun new features exclusive to this new medium, and a completely revised and updated edit of the original Omelette Route, all in a fresh and exciting hot and fast bitesized upd8-friendly package!
As Omelette Route continues to expand in scope and scale, each individual narrative unit has similarly necessarily exponentially ballooned. In order to keep the story alive without compromising my vision, content for this story will now first be hosted on MSPFA in semi-regular upd8s before the finished chapters are collated into their final definitive versions on AO3. This should, hopefully, fix the problem of having to endure a six month hiatus between novel-sized superchapters that has become an increasingly prevalent pattern as time has gone on. Now you can look forward to smaller more digestible bits of story at a much more frequent and healthier pace, and get to enjoy the hype of an upd8 culture as a bonus at no additional cost!
My hope with this project is to make Omelette Route a better experience for both new and longtime readers. The new story layout on MSPFA is much easier to get through than the walls of text on AO3, and the ability to provide upd8s separate from complete chapter chunks will massively help stave off content droughts. The MSPFA format also opens up new and exciting possibilities as we fast approach the midpoint of Pickle Route and beyond that I am excited to explore and experiment with when the time comes.
