I went out today (to the doctor's actually, I've been extremely sick for over a week). Since I went out, I was able to dress up! And this dress is actually a bit new. I don't think I've worn it on here yet. So I finally bought one! It’s been my dream sweater for absolutely forever!!! Unfortunately, it’s been cut into a cropped style, but that’s okay. The reason it’s okay is because fully intact ones go for over 200 often, and I really can’t afford such high prices on just one sweater no matter how amazing it is. So I felt lucky to find this and only have to pay 35 on it. It may be altered, but it’s still cute and wearable and I have the sweater I’ve been pining after!! Plus, when it’s colder, I might be able to wear it with a lolita style dress like this (with consideration to waist placement)? I’m excited to find out. In my eyes, it was worth it. If I have the chance to buy the fully intact one later for a reasonable price, of course I’ll go for it, but for right now, I feel satisfied. :) (picture is from seller not my own)

Long time no see! I’m happy to be able to post again. I’ve taken up sewing! I wasn’t sure that I ever would, but it turns out I love it! It’s actually turning out to be a good activity for me to help me deal with my illnesses. I had my second session today, so I wore what I made my last session: this skirt! It’s the very first thing I’ve ever really sewn. I’m actually quite proud of myself. I know it’s very simple, but it was my first time! I’m working on a more complex project this time, my second time (preview in pictures).
