The man’s wife apparently started verbally attacking the mother of the first girl as well, calling her a pedophile and a genital mutilator. It’s also really important to note that the 9 year old had two moms.
But I will note....from the accounts I’ve read I haven’t seen the folks call for genital inspections but they do demand “certification” which, would be more like asking for the girl’s birth certificate rather than a call to inspect genitals before competition.
Honestly though, they should have bodily removed those assholes from the premises instead of moving where the shot put was being played. They have no right to do this to kids and then be given a wide birth.

Eternal Love (Chinese tv series, 2017)

For context, he was madly in love with her. They were together in a past life and had a kid, it was tragic and people tore them apart, she doesn’t remember it, he does. Fast forward to current life (I am simplifying they’re gods ok). He remembers her. And now they are engaged in a political marriage. He was over the moon. But then she told him she wanted out because she didn’t love him, and she wanted to do incredibly-risky-thing-sure-to-end-in-her-premature-and-painful-death to save this other dude Mo Yuan, who everyone thought she actually loved.
So he (Ye Hua) agrees to end the engagement even though it is KILLING HIM. (They do have sex once for the road. Yeah that’s not gonna destroy him even more). And then he runs off to risk his own life incredibly-risky-thing-sure-to-end-in-HIS-premature-and-painful-death to save Mo Yuan. So she doesn’t do it and get hurt. Bear in mind he has never met Mo Yuan. He is very jealous of Mo Yuan. But he loves her that much.
He barely survives (he is critically injured and vomiting blood everywhere and a mythical beast chomped his arm clean off so no he is not ok).
He does not tell her because he doesn’t want to stress her out.
Well, she finds out. And she sees how he is trying VERY HARD to pretend he is ok haha ignore the puddle of blood in the corner ok. She realizes he did this to protect her, even though she rejected him.
And she had a moment of crisis and realizes oh god

Anyway so back to this scene.
They’re making out (he still thinks she doesn’t love him so you can understand how he is losing his mind in anguish). And she stops and is like “hey. Uhm. I actually love you and want to marry you. Btw. If that’s ok.”
Ye Hua was not expecting that. He was expecting to pine forever and be lonely forever and just accept her scraps of love without getting anything in return.
And as you can see after he stops crying (does he stop?) he calmly responds with “YES THAT IS OK LET’S MAKE A BABY RIGHT NOW”
And they bang. Fade to black. That noise you hear is me screaming in the background

going from the reddit star wars fandom to the tumblr star wars fandom is giving me insane whiplash. the upside is that people aren’t bitching about every single imperfect detail in the entire franchise, but the downside is that i’ve seen more fanart of obi wan and commander cody tenderly knowing each other than i have ever wanted to in my life in the last three hours and it has probably fundamentally altered the way i interact with the entire franchise
after the initial shock of being plunged into the icy cold lake of seeing my childhood action figures caressing each others sweaty chests in a gentle, hidden moment after a battle, i’ve been able to get my wits about me and realize that yeah, i’m kinda with it
