anyway I love things like having independence, being intelligent, taking pride in my skills, not feigning incompetence, referring to myself as a woman instead of a girl, aging unapologetically, having pores, stretch marks, grey hairs, wrinkles and body fat, listening to my body's needs, eating as much as I need to satisfy my hunger, being bare-faced, wearing comfortable clothes, etcetera

she was just like me fr

they say that this one of the keys to happiness! in psychology the concept is called flow. like just being completely immersed in a task or hobby that you aren't even really thinking anymore. i watched a documentary on happiness once and it said that ppl who experience flow as often as possible are happier than ppl who dont

Thank you, kind sirs, you've made me what I am today

A bundle of broken nerves, a mouthful of words

I'm still afraid to say

I don't mind telling you, now that I'm old enough to love

I couldn't begin to even if my pretty life depended on it

And funny thing, it does

Halima really said no to both marriage and being terminally online.

While Katera had a great ending, Halima's episode had everything great but the ending but I love her still. The scenes where we go straight from her and her mom working , making the village run, to the men just sitting around talking about their villages philosophy. From her dad (didn't even know he was her dad) killing her ai friend to her mom not wanting to smash the mental patch bc she didn't want to hurt her. And while her mom didn't protest the wedding, she'd still hold her when she cried. And even though I the mother and daughter bond is strong, halima still had to leave. Halima really is the only one forging her own path, an outcast by rejecting napata and her village. No home, but true to her own will. And in the end she's alone, and sometimes I guess you have to be

Tama is boss

THE TRAINS HAVE CARTOON TAMAS ON THEM

Sad update everyone, Tama recently passed away… An estimated 3,000 people, including railway officials, attended Tama the cat’s funeral on Sunday, days after she died of heart failure aged 16. [x]

For those who haven’t read articles about it, the local shrine elevated her to a god. She’s now the Eternal Stationmaster and patron god of the station.

Beautiful.

Now I’m crying thanks

and a new cat was hired right?

yep! her name is Nitama (essentially ”second tama” or “tama II”) and she served under Tama as an apprentice before being appointed her deputy

she works very hard

I’m crying at 11pm over train cats

Nitama, already now a mature cat (born 2010), has a protege named Yontama (fourth Tama, b. 2016).  There is no information available for either the physical befellment or tragic self-disgrace which has removed Santama from contention.

^Nitama majestic, and below with Yontama

Yontama.

a legacy

okay but actually what happened to santama (or sun-tama-tama, which is her name because it’s a pun on santama) was that she was basically sent to train for the position in okayama and they liked her so much they refused to send her back

“Sun-tama-tama” (a pun off of “Santama”, lit. “third Tama”) was a calico cat sent for training in Okayama. Sun-tama-tama was considered as a candidate for Tama’s successor, but the Okayama Public Relations representative who had been caring for Sun-tama-tama refused to give the cat up writing, “I will not let go of this child, she will stay in Okayama.” [25]
As of September 2018, Sun-tama-tama is working as the stationmaster in Naka-ku, Okayama and appears occasionally on Tama’s Twitter account.

Every time I see this post there’s new info and it gets better

You are only allowed to scroll pass this after you pay tribute to the great Tama Station masters.

The shrine of Tama Daimyōjin (Great gracious deity Tama), next to the Kishi station where she worked.

Nitama presenting her yearly offerings to Tama Daimyōjin on the anniversary of Tama’s Death, June 23 (The offerings are presented by the company president, as Nitama is a cat and thus can’t hold the offerings herself) (Not pictured, but also present, Yontama)

you cannot pass without reblogging guys. i’m sorry, i don’t make the rules.

You can’t not reblog a goddess. It’s just what’s so. :)

wizards of waverly place was cool because it’s like what if the main character was a girl who is also…………….. ✨🌟🔮 a jackass

she was the best character ever. she fucking stole the wall of a subway station and then did something to everyone’s minds so they would think she didn’t. her female best friend was definitely in love with her. she failed spanish class so she used magic to create subtitles 😭

Women have another option. They can aspire to be wise, not merely nice; to be competent, not merely helpful; to be strong, not merely graceful; to be ambitious for themselves, not merely for themselves in relation to men and children. They can let themselves age naturally and without embarrassment, actively protesting and disobeying the conventions that stem from this society’s double standard about aging. Instead of being girls, girls as long as possible, who then age humiliatingly into middle-aged women, they can become women much earlier – and remain active adults, enjoying the long, erotic career of which women are capable, far longer. Women should allow their faces to show the lives they have lived. Women should tell the truth.
