Where did beanie mod go?

Hello yall 👋🏻 thought it was time for an explanation as to where I’ve been and what’s going on.

When I started this blog my special interests in beanie babies was really strong. I was constantly driven by the rush of unearthing a beanie I’d never seen before. As the blog rapidly grew in size though I began to feel overwhelmed. My beanie posting stopped being my escape time and started being an obligation.

I just couldn’t handle the pressure of keeping my follower count growing and the mounting anxiety of being constantly active or being forgotten. Getting thousands of notifications a day and 10k followers does something to your brain, even though it’s small scale compared to someone one with 100k it still was a lot to handle.

So I took a step back in hopes that some time off would allow me to regenerate my passion for curating beanies. But it hasn’t happened, my interest had remained fizzled.

I might come back here someday. I might not, no promises. I love and appreciate you all for the fun we had together. If you’d like to follow me on to my new project I just launched @swiftmerch , where I’m working on curating a catalogue of all of Taylor Swifts merch.
