Bélmez Faces
In 1971 strange stains that resembled faces began appearing on the floor of Maria Gomez Camara’s residence in Bélmez de La Moraleda (a little village in Andalusia).
Maria tried cleaning the creepy stains off her cement floor, but she had no luck. Her husband took a pick-axe to the floor and re-cemented it, but a few weeks later the faces re-appeared (the pic on the bottom right is of the face re-appearing after the pick-axe).
The rumors of the creepy stains spread and Maria’s house started drawing a lot of visitors. There is a rumor that skeletons were found during an excavation, but it has never been confirmed.
Maria passed away in 2004, but the creepy distorted faces still remain.
